I realize that you're a political ideologue,, but you should really learn to open your mind and accept the truth, I know that President Trump's braggadocious masculinity is hard for some to take. What is most important here is his policies foreign and domestic and all of the good he has done to put our great country In much better shape than when he took office. You really should steer away from the fake news that you believe to be the truth , because it's not .
OK, I about busted a rib laughing at that. Could you elaborate on how an obese, tiny-handed, viagra-munching septuagenarian who literally has to sign contracts with women is an example of intimidating masculinity?

Oh, wait! You mean being a swaggering dumb-ass is masculine. Of course.

46 is doing exactly what he's told, he's a good puppet

And by the way, I’m fine with Biden doing exactly what he’s told. Because he’s surrounded himself with smart, experienced, capable people—in a word, experts—and he listens to what they tell him. As opposed to our last president, who did whatever the hell he wanted—or whatever he last heard on Fox News.

But it doesn't really mean anything But it doesn't really mean anything because Trump will be able to run for president in four years in the end game for the house Democrats was to prevent that from happening
Of course it means something. Mr Trump will forever be remembered by history as the 1st President to be impeached twice during one term. A history exam question for 2050. It will forever be part of his legacy.

So the US constitution states "he shall have power to grant reprieves and pardons for offenses against the United States, except in cases of impeachment."

I'm guessing that means he can't be pardoned by Pence (if his oversized ego would let him step-down on the 19th) for the insurrection, nor can he blanket pardon the MAGA Rioters?

If McConnell had actually tried and removed him a second impeachment would not have been necessary AND he'd still have a Republican president by the name of Mike Pence. McConnell and the entire Republican majority in the Senate chose instead to collude with Trump's obstruction of justice by abrogating their Constitutional duty to put Trump on trial.

They're about to do it again.

Well, at least 10 Republican representatives, turned out to have their heads screwed on right, and voted for impeachment.

Liz Cheney(R-WY):
"There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution."
...

CNBC.com:
Trump becomes first president to be impeached twice, as bipartisan majority charges him with inciting Capitol riot

"The president’s behavior in the 13 months since the first impeachment left House Democrats making a more clear-cut case than the first time around. The chamber charged Trump in a 232-197 vote, as all Democrats and 10 Republicans backed the measure."

Yes, but neither one will stick because the Senate doesn't have the votes
Please learn some civics. Impeachment is a function of the House of Representatives. It has already occurred.

These impeachment equal what it would be in a court of law as an indictment, and in this case it never made it to trial come all the good that Trump has done for this country will far outweigh these sham impeachments the first impeachment didn't even have any legal statutes to rest on
Impeachment is not a legal process, it is a political process. Did you know you don't even have to commit a crime under US criminal code to be impeached? I can assure you that neither of Mr Trump's impeachments meet the definition of a sham. I'd suggest remedial civics education.

"Trump’s achieved a lot since his 2016 election

To the Editor: While there is still some debate over the legality of the results of the 2020 election, one thing remains perfectly clear, President Donald Trump achieved many accomplishments during his first two years in office, and especially during his first six months. Let’s review a partial list of some of these:
Operation Warp Speed, creation of a safe COVID vaccine in record time. ...*etc. and on and on*... Trump tax bill produced lowest top marginal tax rate in more than 80 years for small businesses."

How original, this reminds me of something, oh yeah, Joe Biden and is 47 years of plagiarism, Come on man, you can do better than that
Sure I've got a mirror, do you have any creativity to come up with your own stuff

@lightining - All that you have "contributed" to this thread is that you quoted a much maligned, and Fact-Check-debunked letter to an editor from a conservative Christian from New Hampshire, known to be a "prolific" Trump-supporting letter-writer to editors. Then you accuse @sargon of not being "original" and not having the "creativity to come up with (his) own stuff"?

Is that all you've got?

Your words here clearly show you are also a political ideologue in addition to being a part of a cult of personality. Your own mind is locked shut like the dick of a duck in a chastity cage.

Yeah, the country is doing so well right now. Biden can just relax and coast, basking in all the goodness Trump left us.

If the Senate voted to aquit Trump of the article(s) of Impeachment he would still have his power to pardon. However by the time a Senate trial initiated by Mitch McConnell concludes Trump will no longer be president. Had Trump been convicted during his term of office Pence would still have the power to pardon him.

Indeed but it's too little too late and far too few from the Republican side of the aisle.

Mafia Don Donald Trump still has them shaking in their boots because up until now he has controlled the Republican base via social media. We'll see if that continues.

Too late for social media platforms to drop him as well. The jackass got out of the barn years ago.

Congress needs to pass and Biden needs to sign legislation holding all social media platforms accountable for content.
