We're all about ourselves these days. And I see this entitlement mentally of "it must be MY way" as coming primarily from one side, and it ain't the conservatives.

Two things. First, compromise can be a good thing, but in some matters--like civil rights issues--shouldn't be accepted. Second, I would say the "my way or nothing" attitude--or truth be told, simply "nothing"--characterized the perversely obstructionist Republican opposition during the Obama administration.

I don't seem to recall you're taking issue with the republicans in congress who vowed to block everything and anything Obama planned before he was even sworn in, and then went on, post 2010, to become the most obstructionist, least accomplished congress in HISTORY!!
