If you believe there will be a great renaissance of thriving factory towns in the Nation, you are also mired in the 1950's.

I can't say what the future holds. Some of the loss in manufacturing jobs is from offshoring, but some is due to efficiency (more automation of the manufacturing process by robots). Even as jobs have declined, the amount of goods we were making here in the USA increased.

But the number of jobs is on the rise recently. Blame Trump, don't blame Trump, it is what it is (and what it "is" is an industry that's been adding jobs). Your statement that those jobs are never coming back is already proven false by recent labor statistics. Some of them already came back.

The fucked up thing is that those wingnut sites are prestigious journalistic institutions and the ideology that Industrialsize subscribes to is seen by all intents and purposes as mainstream thought. He has the full weight of the Western media behind him, much of the liberal intelligentsia and is backed by powerful states such as the United States, the UK (and the commonwealth) and Europe.

Our points of view are represented haphazardly and we aren't backed up by hardly any prestigious journalistic institutions... our ideas aren't backed by any powerful states either... we are left swinging in the wind the majority of the time.

It's difficult to represent points of view that aren't accepted as mainstream thought... at least we get to keep our heads in the 21st century though... a year ban was actually good for me.
