Jesus christ ok I am determined to get this through your skull.

The crime you are describing has 3 stages.

1) pervert sees target(s) enter restroom

2) pervert enters restroom

3) pervert does their sexual crime.

You are insisting that step two will become easy and widespread once trans people can choose their bathroom.
Except there is NOTHING stopping perverts from doing step two already, so the trans laws cannot possibly make their perverted acts any easier. It is already easy, if they are creepy and desperate.

Therefore, the trans protections have zero effect on this strawman pervert you cling to with all your ignorant might.

Bro you are embarrassing yourself here. Read very carefully what I am about to write:

Perverts are gonna do what perverts are gonna do no matter what the law says. Ok. Has zero to do with my fucking point. Starting, stopping, preventing blah blah blah. Not my fucking point dude.

Trans bathroom laws make it "legal" for a perverted straight man to enter into women's bathroom. This shouldn't be legal lol. You cannot prevent a perverted straight man from entering a women's locker room if it's LEGAL for them to be there. That's the issue and an undeniable fact. This is an unintended consequence of your position and if you cannot admit that then I suggest a lobotomy.

It would be legal for them to enter and use the restroom. Fine.
If they loiter in the restroom, that IS STILL ILLEGAL. Their sex crime IS STILL ILLEGAL.

What challenge?

Should bathrooms be segregated so that white children who have misinformed fears about black people can't have those come into play if they go into a bathroom that has a black woman in it?

Challenges of adolescences, puberty, teen years, the boy bullies, the mean girls. . .

Really, are we now gonna turn this into a discussion on race?

Look dude, you're seriously not educating yourself because THAT'S NOT HOW THE FUCKIN LAWS WORK.

Take Seattle. I say take seattle because it's in your list of supposed abuses of the laws and it's the only one that legit qualifies as someone trying to abuse the law to gain access. HEre's what the Seattle ordinance does...

"This ordinance applies to single-occupant restrooms in public places in Seattle. This ordinance amends the Seattle Municipal Code to create all-gender single occupant restrooms. The measure applies to existing and newly-built City facilities, as well as public places in Seattle. It allows use of single occupant restrooms by any person, regardless of sex or gender identity, and prevents those restrooms from being restricted to a specific sex or gender identity. Restroom facilities without appropriate signage already in place will require new signs to be posted. The deadline for posting new signage is March 9, 2016."

Do you fucking know what single occupant means? That pool clearly doesn't because they somehow thought that locker room which holds multiple people = single occupant.

The protections that we're talking about are generally won in the courts and protect people who are legitimately transgender from being prosecuted for using the restroom that matches their identity, or forcing public institutions such as schools to allow students to use the restroom that matches their identity.

There's no fucking law out there that prevents a business from calling the police on a cis individual who's trying to perv on people. Police can be called, if the police find ample reason for suspicion they can arrest them.

What does any of that have to do with what's between the legs of the girl using the private stall elsewhere in the restroom, out of sight?

If I'm a teen boy and taking a piss and a girl walks in, yes, it would freak me out. Cmon, do you really not get that?

But if you were a teen boy and a trans teen boy came into the bathroom you would not even give them a second look.

That's the case you're advocating.

You are saying that this woman should be going in and out of the men's room

These are trans gender individuals. The situation which is going to supposedly freak out cis students using the restroom is exactly the scenario you are wanting put in place.

Doubtful. Do you honestly believe the tran will have complete anonymity? In a lower school, or a high school? We're talking about a school bathroom, not a public restroom in a mall, or an airport. You will get picked on if you part your hair the wrong way, or wear the wrong clothes. At some level, it's happened to all of us at that age.

I do think it's a different matter when it comes to student bathrooms, as all kids are more sensitive at a certain age. And trans kids are vulnerable to embarrassment and ridicule whichever bathroom they use. Kids can be little shits. They mostly were at my school. But bullying behaviour was usually met with a 'kids will be kids' kind of attitude. And I agree that a certain amount of jokes and taunting is just part of growing up. I suspect attitudes have changed since I was young but I don't know how much. Maybe trans kids can be granted permission to use the accessible bathroom. They're safer if there is no one else around them.

We rely on a certain amount of respect for each other when it comes to public bathroom etiquette. There will always be people who break the rules. I've witnessed people being inappropriate twice, once very openly in broad daylight in a shopping centre toilet. I'm not sure what the answer is for preventing that kind of behaviour besides increased security. I don't know how common it is, but I think it's safe to say that men commit the vast majority of these kind of acts. Maybe the law just needs to be harsher on these people.
