I think the US and worldwide media need to be very careful with Trump. Despite his hideous views his supporters will support him regardless. He could blend a puppy and people would still say 'oh... that crafty Donald... that's just him having a laugh!' The thing is the media may push people toward voting Trump IF they believe he is a victim of some massive conspiracy and smear campaign. The UK Brexit vote was a prime example of a media establishment that wanted the UK to stay and their heavily bias agenda toward stay pushed more and more people to vote leave.
