They did not HAVE to apply, they made a choice. They keep the wages low to discourage Americans and when Americans do apply they refuse to hire them. They run the same scam at Mar-A-Largo and the other golf courses. This is not news - it was ignored during
the campaign.

On a similar note despite what Trump proclaimed there will be no American Steel in the Keystone pipeline - it is exempt. A Russian company has the contract - what a surprise!

That "wealthy russian" is an oligarch and a friend of Trump's and Putin's:

The attached link was interesting and insightful. Who knew Russia was the fourth largest exporter of steel? Or that all the available US steel capacity was already exhausted? Or the timelines for this project predate much of recent events involving Russia?

I was referring to the point that the company is headed by a Russian - I think at the end of the day, that's where the money winds up.
