Much has been tweeted etc about the uniforms for the presidents new army - the one that is going to patrol space!
Camouflage was ridiculed - but you have to remember this is one way that Trump can identify troops - regardless of which country. He does have, as he's repeatedly said, a very big brain which is probably why the new uniforms were in line with those he already recognized - why over load a large receptacle with added almost extraneous information!
However, can you imagine the outcry had the new uniform been,
Dark Blue adorned with stars and moons with little rockets whiz\zing along the arms?
Welcome
to the world of Trumpo - how long before a Deep Sea Brigade?

Reminds me of how post 9-11 you had all these guys stationed in the Pentagon all the sudden wearing flight suits or "BDU's when back in the 80's when I worked there you could not even wear khaki's not even in the summer when they were authorized at most other commands.

Think about in the movie No Way Out Kevin Costner always wearing "tropical white long"

And they stole from Star Trek. I wonder if Melania had anything to do with it. She does like to "borrow" sometimes.

Directly too. lmfao It's almost like trump and republican's subconscious minds are searching for even more groups of people to piss off so they all can be voted out.

Like a kid frustrated with their parents who refuses to punish them for acting out.

Out of all the groups possible to piss off. Why trekkies? lmfao

No one will be spared from the horrors of the Trump administration.

This somewhat comical appropriation of “Star Trek” imagery carries a certain irony. The universe of “Star Trek” has always provided a hopeful, near-utopian vision for humanity, where we have finally learned to set aside things like racial prejudice and gender inequality, and we all work together toward a common purpose and quest. Money is a thing of the past because no one wants for any material need, and we have united much of the galaxy in a peaceful assembly of sovereign worlds.

Contrast that for a moment with the current administration’s values and practices: racial resentments and fear stoked for cynical political purposes, the wealthy made even more obscenely so through grift and political influence, coarse and bullying behavior masquerading as diplomacy, to name but a few. Even the notion of a “Space Force” seems patently absurd coming from an administration where science is mocked and disregarded.

George Takei: The ‘Star Trek’ vision was hopeful. Trump’s is the mirror image.
The new Space Force logo may look like Starfleet’s, but the similarities end there.

In an unusual turn of events, ardent Trump supporter and "Q" cult representative, Lauren Boebert, joined forces with Democratic colleagues in order to probe Trump — for moving Space Command from Colorado to Mo Brooks' district in Alabama: Feb. 3, 2021 Article Excerpt:

Lauren Boebert calls for probe of Trump — for moving Space Command to Mo Brooks' district

A last-minute Trump administration decision to relocate a major Air Force command office to Alabama may bear marks of a favor to Republican Rep. Mo Brooks, who shilled for the former president's election lies and played a role in the events surrounding the Jan. 6 insurrection.

The full Colorado congressional delegation, including GOP freshman outsider Rep. Lauren Boebert, has called on the Biden administration to investigate "significant evidence" of unspecified political influence behind the decision. The delegation asked Biden to "pause all actions" before an inquiry is settled.

"Significant evidence exists that the process was neither fair nor impartial and that President Trump's political considerations influenced the final decision," the nine lawmakers wrote in a Jan. 26 letter, led by Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet. The letter criticizes an unusual decision process conducted after the Pentagon had previously selected Colorado's Peterson Air Force Base in 2019, which former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper declared "unfair."
