Let's say Joe Bloggs earns $1000 dollars, he pays tax of 20 cents in the dollar. Now if Jim Bloggs earns $10,000 dollars, he should pay 20 cents in the dollar too. Yet Jim is able to hide money offshore in tax havens because he can afford good accountants and lawyers.

How hard is it?

Close the loopholes, point the missiles at tax havens instead of working people. :)

It's just an example.

That's not the mechanism by which Americans generally minimize their tax burden. Essentially irrelevant.
Most US citizens do not, but most US citizens do not decide the issue of tax law.

I can't claim hypomania. But might be fun one day a week or so.
I would not claim mania of any type, thank you for your honesty.

When you live with a manic depressive, you get to know "stuff".

By the definition of the gobblygook word "Hypomania". Donald Trump fits the bill perfectly.

Trump Could Save More Than$1 Billion Under His New Tax Plan
Create a tax policy that really benefits yourself, your family, and your billionaire cabinet members. Once in a generation "tax reform"?

Isn't it SWEET you can propose laws that benefit yourself and don't tell anyone and your fellow reptile party members say nothing and call Hillary corrupt as the Idiot Class cheers your every move!

Highlighted areas show what parts of President Trump’s 2005 tax return could have been affected by the new tax plan.

Once a con man always a con man.

Tax avoiders are like cockroaches, they always try to find places to crawl and breed where they are not able to be seen.

Separate issue, but some of the most productive men in history have been hypomanic. Great book on that subject.
I understand this, I'm not disputing it at all. Yet, when the common sense of the everyday human is persuaded to follow a nonsensical path, those that yell....Whoa, hang on, look at the reality....are ignored.

I have witnessed the most prominent Psychiatrist's, Psychologist's fall prey to a manipulative "Manic". What the extremely sad part is, the unwillingness to admit it for fear of professional castration. That is the absolute truth. To lose standing amongst piers is the very worst which can happen.

I have seen professionals go crazy battling with this dilemma. For the simple fact they cannot, or permitted, admit they were wrong.

And yes, they carry it, they try to admit it, they can't, in the end the truth dies with them. Yet their unwillingness to admit, lives on to dis-affect other lives. So the cycle goes.
