A massive 8.3 has just hit the south Pacific.

    Samoa has taken serious damage.

The quake has generated a tsunami that now heading across the south Pacific. They say they 'think' it will only be about a meter high but will hit my home city in less that two hours?

    Kinda worried!

The news is covered with how the parts of the north of the north island here are being evacuated to higher ground.

Yes, there are fatalities reported in American Samoa and beach villages in both Samoa and American Samoa have been destroyed.

The wave has coincided with low tide... this has knocked a lot of power of out it.

It will be here in 15 minutes, the whole nation is on high alert!

    This isn't fun.

    Yeah, I know.

It's frightened me more than anything else.

Nothing I dreamt has come to pass, other than an earthquake with a lot of damage in the south pacific region.

That's to generic, possible and common to have been anything other than just a dream.

The tsunami warning has been cancelled.

The wave in places was only 40cm (16") heigh here, the one the hit Samoa was nearly 3m (9'8").
