I would not say diversity is inherently a strength. Because the strength of that diversity depends entirely on the quality of people coming in. Exchanging ideas can be either positive or negative. South America is super diverse, but not very successful. However it is true that diversity was America's strength. Mainly because it built itself as a nation of entrepreneurship. Many immigrants though primarily from Europe, helped establish the US as a dominant force. From the French who were heavily involved with many startup companies in Silicon valley. To the Italian/Jewish immigrants involved in banking, Hollywood and the comic industry. To the Nazi Germans who were apart of Operation Paperclip and laid the foundations for NASA. Then you also have the soviets who were involved in the field of aviation, that were bribed by the American government. So yes, in a way diversity was America's strength, but we must also take into account there's certainly a difference between bribing Nazi scientist eg: the best and brightest a nation has to offer, and the total opposite of that.

The programmed war mongering of a useful tool of the Industrial Military Complex.

Keep on rattling that saber champ.

Some great news for you today. This should ratchet down the Russia-phobia fears. I wonder who Putin will point them at?

Russian submarine fleet capable of launching missiles armed with hypersonics and nukes will be ready for war by 2024

"We don't have any defense that could deny the employment of such a weapon against us," Air Force Gen. John Hyten, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, told the Senate Armed Services Committee in March, following Putin's comments.

What about the sense of constant impending doom that Russia feels when they are being threatened from every direction?

Does Russia have gear on America's border pointed at the U.S.? OF COURSE NOT, EVEN A COMPLETE DUMBASS WOULD BE ABLE TO REALIZE THIS

The United States outspends Russia 10 to 1 by conservative standards.

Russia isn't in any way a threat to anyone. Their military is a DEFENSIVE military. Their military is designed top to bottom to defend their homeland and strategic interests. On the other hand, the U.S. and their vassal states in NATO have developed an OFFENSIVE army designed to invade other countries and destroy everything within it's borders. Russia has ONE fucking aircraft carrier... ONE and it looks like it's powered by coal some other 19th century fuel source.

Just look at the numbers of troops ready to destroy Russia whenever they are given the signal - 8.4 million NATO personnel are ready to obliterate Russia... with all of the necessary gear for war right on Russia's border. The only thing preventing NATO from destroying Russia is Russia's nuclear arsenal. If Russia didn't have nukes, NATO would have wiped them out years ago.

Russia brings a plastic fork to a knife fight and the media loses it's collective shit. What YOU should be worried about is how CNBC has become a PR wing of the Pentagon.

Does it seem normal to you that a financial network based on the stock market is reporting military propaganda in a salacious fashion? DOES THIS SEEM NORMAL TO YOU?!?!?

How many nuclear weapon and nuclear subs are pointed at Russia right now as I type this?!? FUCKING WAAAAY MORE THAN RUSSIA HAS POINTED AT THE U.S.

But that's what Bullies do... the moment their target decides to defend themselves, the bullies cry foul and convince authority to come down on THEIR side against their target.

Next time you get asked to empty your pockets by a police officer... just tap them on their forehead lightly with your index finger and see if that doesn't get you tased and or beat the fuck up by a nightstick. This is how a bully reacts to a perceived "threat".

Hypersonic nukes are a plastic fork? Now that's hilarious. I'll see if Colbert can top that one tonight :kissing_heart:

You are precisely where the Industrial Military Complex wants you to be. Aware of a few "scary" Russian weapons yet completely in the dark as to why Russia would need those weapons.

You're an incredibly useful tool for the war machine... this is EXACTLY what went on during the cold war. The pentagon would release propaganda for the Western news media to disseminate to the sheeple... designed to greatly magnify a perceived Russian threat while diminishing our actual threat to Russia.

The U.S. military are just like those overarmed cops who want strength in: numbers, budget, technology and lethality. It's not enough that they have a set of handcuffs, a taser, a nightstick and a semi-automatic handgun...

... they gotta have personnel carriers, tanks, water cannons, sound cannons, multiple helicopters, automatic weapons etc.

all to confront a public armed with basically nothing in comparison.

You’re wrong: If you think this Russian military video demonstrates a defensive military, you’re batshit crazy:

The official statement - "Russia will respond instantly to any use of nuclear weapons against Russia or it's allies."

is a defensive statement about NATO, Israel or the U.S. STRIKING RUSSIA OR IT'S ALLIES FIRST

If you hit me first and I THEN strike you... your initial strike is OFFENSIVE in nature while my retaliatory strike would be DEFENSIVE in nature.

You're just flat out wrong.

A Russian indefensible hypersonic missile system will 100% prevent the U.S. from starting a nuclear war through being an effective deterrent.

which is it's purpose

NOTHING REPEAT NOTHING keeps then from using those weapons first

If their ICBM's and other nuclear weapons are "defensive" that ours are defensive

The ONLY reason we had all those nukes and other forces in Europe was to have something to put up against that 100 plus divisions of the red army that were poised to come pouring through the fulda gap

We (NATO) did not even put them there until AFTER the Russians had taken over all those countries that became the" Warsaw pact" whether they wanted to be taken over or not.

AFTER they tried to take West Berlin and provoked the Berlin airlift

AFTER they built the fucking Berlin wall

AFTER -----------

Diversity has nothing to do with strength of a Nation. We are a country of immigrants that used to love this country and wanted to be here to help build it. Diversity was the strength of this country but not anymore. As Muslims migrated here they set up their own communities and keep other Americans out. It's what can you do for me not what I can do for my country. Diversity is not the strength of this country any longer.
Here you have so eloquently shown your very divisive and racist point of view ... BRAVO
