It's my new addiction. If you use it, feel free to add me. Maggie Hizakata (MaggieIsAmazing) on Twitter Also, can you suggest a few people's twittters who are worth following?
I followed Ashton Kutcher for a while but he drove me nuts. His mrs, Demi Moore does it too. Ingrid Michaelson is pretty good.
Most people seem to have trouble striking the right balance on Twitter. They're either tweeting multiple times an hour (a definite turn-off) or once every few weeks (why bother following them?) Tina Fey's looks fun but she hasn't tweeted in a month or more. Steve
Oh I don't know... It takes 2 mins to tweat. A damn sight quicker than many other internet activities!
Mmm true.. But then some people say people with lives don't sit in fourms and post pictures of their cocks, and yet here you are? Strange? I own my own business and rock a sidekick. Promotion and interent is what I do. Yet, for not having a "life".... I am successful, got my life in order, own my own house & car... Hmm but yeah? Life... wtf is that?
Thanks for the replies. I've actually followed most of them. John Mayer's is pretty funny & awesome. I guess I should inform him he has no life though.... cause people who "tweet" have no lives. Fucking jenifer aniston & tons of money... shit he smells of fail.
maybe that's why you didn't have time to do a search on "twitter" to find one of the other threads on the topic. it's nice to see you haven't let the pressures of a hectic life style have a negative effect your sense of humor or your manners. ml
the reason i don't tweet is because: the people who do use words like "awesome" and think that they're friends with celebritites because they follow them on twitter. and the only reason john mayer tweets is because he gets fuking PAID to.
I obviously think I'm worth following, but only because I'm very egotistical. Synergistic Tiny Buddha is my favorite so far with occasional wisdom right on your Twitter feed. Michael Ian Black is a comedian who is pretty active on it right now, I just found him few days ago. John Cleese is as mad as always, and very much so worth following. Alfred E. Neuman What me worry?
Twitter is for twats. Its the newest flavor of killing time... But who the fuck cares? The idea that congressmen are twatting about Obama's tie, rather than listening to his speech is disgusting. The idea that 40 and 50 and 60 year old elected representatives think twatting is gonna make them cool with a hipper generation? Pathetic. Its self absorption taken to an extreme. Like facebook and other emergent internet/cell phone related fads, its gonna become huge... but twatting will have a short arc of popularity, and pass into the zone of being SO yesterday within months. Hell, the way fashion goes, the minute everbody knows what it is, its already passe.
I actually just got on twitter a few days ago, but I will admit it was only because i was bored out of my fucking mind. I'm not sure if I will keep up with it or not.
I have been hearing about this twitter thing non-stop for awhile now for a couple of months... what the hell is it? just webpages that people have for themselves and update? I don't get it...it seems just like those facebook or myspace things isn't it? i don't know...the whole thing has me clueless and totally indifferent.
That should come as a great shock to people like Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher, Jennifer Aniston and many other people with lives that are very successful in life. I don't see it as a "no life" option anymore. I see it as life in the modern age, information is the new currency. Besides, you don't feel so bad about getting older adapting to new technologies and cool trends. All things in balance I say. Have some fun with it.
