twitter?

I must admit, I don't even know what twitter is. Can someone enlighten me?

Twitter is kind of like CNN. Constant updates. People just say what they're thinking or doing. Or post a picture of what is going at that moment. Just another social network site like myspace and facebook. You can message people or mention them in your 'tweets' (update) and if you mention them, they see you did and can reply in an update on their twitter page.
