Seriously! You're very good at writing engaging stories.
Liam needs to write the relationship off. There's not much of a chance of there ever being anything more than a friendship with Sam, and a one sided one at that. If Liam hadn't brought up his desire to see Mitch, Sam would have continued talking about the game, his latest bird, drinking beer, and nothing would have happened. Crawling into bed with Sam "for old times sake" will only serve to prolong the misery and pain. It's Sam's jealousy that's behind the offer to sleep together, nothing more, nothing less. Bar stools are populated with blokes like Sam.
