Two senior Taliban leaders have been arrested in recent days inside Pakistan, officials said Thursday, as American and Pakistani intelligence agents continued to press their offensive against the group’s leadership after the capture of the insurgency’s military commander last month. Afghan officials said the Taliban "shadow governors" for two provinces in northern Afghanistan had been detained in Pakistan. Mullah Abdul Salam, the Taliban’s leader in Kunduz, and Mullah Mir Mohammed of Baghlan were captured about two weeks ago in a raid on a house in Akora Khattack, according to a leader at the Dar-ul-Uloom Haqqaniya madrasa there.

Wonderful. Now, do these folks deserve Miranda rights? Do they deserve to be treated like a shoplifter down the block?

Should they be tried in Federal Courts?

Yes let's hold Obama to something he said in Farmington Hills, Michigan during his campaign when he was behind and didn't want to look soft on terrorism. You might say alot has happened since then. You might say people have taken a long hard look at human rights abuses by the US and what they do for terrorist recruitment and reevaluated things.

I guess the real questions are...
Trinity, do you think waterboarding is torture?
Did you know we executed Japanese military after WWII for waterboarding and other torture of POWs?
Do you think torture gets good results and information?
Do you think human rights abuses by the US increase perceptions of US corruption and hypocrisy in the Middle East and contribute to radicalizing Islamic youth?
And how did you in your infinite wisdom come to these conclusions?
