I'm simply referring to the mass population. When most men search for a photo of a woman they expect someone born with a vagina. I don't believe it to be transphobic if they don't want to see that. The definition of woman that the majority of society has been taught is that a woman has a vagina. I don't think it is fair to call them transphobic for believing that is that case. I know it must be extremely difficult for the transgender population. I can't even imagine.
If a woman is mocked, ridiculed and made to feel worthless for not being in the body they should have originally been in, if a woman is mocked for not living up to the standards of “the mass population” then yes, this is 100% transphobia. They are saying a pre op trans WOMAN shouldn’t belong in a forum dedicated to images of WOMEN. A trans woman is a woman. The fact that this site has a trans section emphasises the divide and makes it ok to ostracise trans women. This is completely transphobia.

The amount of judgement trans ppl get is insane. Even guys who spend hours online looking through trans porn are not allies. Most of them have an addiction towards mtfs, and purely see us as objects...but men will call themselves allies bc they're sexually attracted to trans ppl. Ppl are just stupid : unamused:

What's sad is that some trans ppl with 'market' themselves as fetishes...and convey the idea that we all are...

A woman’s gotta eat. Discrimination is rife in the workplace, all around the world businesses can say no to you for being trans, you can be fired for being trans. Hence such a high percentages for trans sex workers, people need to eat, people need to live. And whats a big rule in business? Give the client what they want. It kills me that men and women live up to the fetish but in this twisted society, that shit is what pays.

I'm sorry you feel that way. I watch closely what all of the biggest adult companies do and not one of them has Trans women in their women section. That doesn't make it right but it is the industry standard. It sucks but that is the world we live in. It may be transphobic of me to have a trans section on the site but for the time being, I feel that is the right move for us right now. I understand if that causes an issue with you and this site and I'm sorry if that is the case.

You do your best, I know you are constantly learning and trying to do better which is what counts. If I have a problem you’re always there, so thank you x

I'm not against escorts/prostitutes. As long as it's consenual and legal, I don't see why it's anyone's business. Queer folks are entitled to privacy, just as much as anyone else.

On the flipside, one person's irresponsibility can negatively effect a lot of ppl. I know of quite a few trans prostitutes, who are careless in the way the treat others and themselves. Wiether they see or not, their behavior has an impact on how society treats transgender ppl overall - escort or not.

Because I'm in their vincinity, I'm presumed to be a lot things I'm not. Essentially, assumptions would exist no matter what, but they're just making the problem worse.

I think as time goes by, we will have even more diverse words made to describe the whole transitional experience, transformation and those who form relationships with said people . I was doing research recently and there are even a spectrum of types of people attracted to those who are in different stages of transitioning. And they trying to come up with words to describe those people to each particular type of attraction on the spectrum, if that makes sense.

Two things, porn is not real life (and the inverse is true)
And porn is basically objectifying people to commodify their sexual expression irrespective of gender expression.
I’m betting women with full reassignment can go in women, as the base definition visually would be “has a vagina.”

What if the section was “trans friendly” porn, and mixed transmen and transwomen?

The rest of us read the announcements. Are you so special that you cannot?
This very thread has the majority of the slurs listed that we don’t use here. I think f*g is one, and general slurs toward racial groups, but existing at time of new rule names with those words are grandfathered in.

other insults are allowed, such as ginger. I’m not bitching. It just tells me who to avoid.
This sounds nice in theory but does it work in practice?
As it is the subforum that includes announcements has 142 pages of threads. Who joining this site will go through all those pages to look for the relevant information? I certainly wouldn't expect anyone to do so. Also, a thread like this one is in a completely different forum.
It would be nice if there were a forum for actual announcements that contained all the relevant and current information that isn't part of the "Terms and Rules".

I always refer to individuals as they appear until they express themselves as preferring otherwise.
I keep hearing dont call someone a trans or trans ...yet I have friends that feel you are disrespecting them if you use a different term as they want a specific label.
Stephane is a trans. (The AI wont allow the term.she goes by here).
Kim, trans.
Suki, ladyboy.
I have to admitt, most others prefer a more politically correct term, but you never really know until you screw up.
Been there, done that. Apologize and dont do it again.

Hi. Over the past few weeks, it has been brought to my attention that two following two terms not acceptable and are offensive... t-r-a-n-n-y and s-h-e-m-a-l-e. I'm running a test right now and have changed it so whenever someone types in either of those words it is changed to trans.

My reason for doing this is because I believe most people who use those two terms don't know they are offensive. So instead of allowing those words to be used, we will automatically edit them for you.

I can't see any reason why someone would "need" to use those words. If you have an issue with this change please, by all means, let me know why.

I want LPSG to be a site that welcomes everyone from all walks of life. Historically it has not been very kind and welcoming to the Trans community and I would like to change that. This is the first step in doing so.

NOTE.... I'm posting this in all the Trans sections. Comments here are open to anyone trans or not. This is a discussion.
I agree I find the word trans and trans a putdown, insulting and hurtful, never liked that expression. That is the same calling me a faggot I am gay not a faggot. And I like to get bigger breast as I like the feel of my hands cupping my breast and at the same time mu nipples are hard too.

This is the Ask a Transgender Person section, but since everyone seems to ignore the rules and post no matter what demographic they actually belong to...

The word you're saying is fine is a big enough issue that people like RuPaul are criticized for using it. Multiple women who are trans on here have pointed out it's an issue/problem/not okay. Every single woman I know who is trans outside of this site considers it a slur. Are there some who don't mind? I'm sure they exist. I'm also sure that some folks grin and bear it because if they do cam work or in general are a sex worker or something of that nature? It's the terminology that's common. It's an easily used marketing tool and vocabulary that the unwashed masses will recognize.

I've done cam work in the past. I played up to stereotypes that I fucking loathe because it was an easy niche to make money from. Does that mean I hated those stereotypes or slurs any less? Hell no.

It's a slur. It's awful.
It's only fair to say: RuPaul's response was "There's nothing you can say to people who make an identify out of victimhood".

I respect you're experience of living the term that's being censored was bad, but from that you can't conclude that all others who do are victims.

Get oriented and drop oriental.
Says an East coast intellectual, arguing for a normative cultural product (woke culture), transported and trannyposed on every geographically and culturally marginalised location, like so opium forced on China.

"Can The Subaltern Speak" indeed.

I appreciate this feedback. A very close friend of mine owns Grooby and I would consider him the king of Trans porn. Not only that he has done more for trans performers than anyone else I know. I'm waiting to hear back from him regarding this.

I agree wordplay is a big thing. I alluded to that recently in a thread where a few users were knocking performers who were using "fag" in their videos even though the performers were using it in dirty talk that was specifically created for the user(s).

That said now it has been brought to my attention I can see 100% how "tr-a-nny" is an issue. What are your reasons for thinking "she-male" is different from that? I'm opening to hearing them. I haven't been able to come up with any.
They are women , and also the term," best of both worlds" is offensive to all trans woman or men .
It may not be a harmful phrase here at this site , real life is very different . I lived with a transgender woman , she was my whole life ,we loved very deeply . I fully support the woman who is trying to find her real self .. just me 2 cents

Ok, I’ll wade in, since @Mr. LPSG seems to be allowing all identity discussion.
For the record, cis woman, here.
I have written award winning articles on transgender youth, and my own kiddo is dealing with gender dysmorphia.

transgenderism is anyone with gender dysmorphia. If the person can live as their personally identified gender or not, surgery or not, doesn’t matter.
What’s under their clothes is NO ONE ELSE’S BUSINESS!
Some folx will never be able to afford all the surgery needed to physically change.
Some will, but in pieces.
I have male clients with a hysterectomy in the medical records.
I have female clients with penises.
Some don’t want surgery, for whatever reason. Not defined by genitalia.

trans, trans, ladyboy/boi, he/she are objectifying terms, and should be on the slag heap of history with racial slurs.

any software will need to spot runarounds. If it filters trans, it will need to get Tran-ny, etc.
I thank you for your post , it's dead on
