I don't disagree with you. However, that kinda proves my point. She had a lot of baggage. It was unfair and most of it was amde up, but she did have a ton of baggage.

Non-sequitur. Unless you mean "luggage = bullshit" like Republicans gave Obama even after 8 years. He's a muslim you know.

“Obama was acting at the behest of the Islamic nation,” she began one afternoon when she was getting her nails done with her friend Linda. She was referring to allegations that President Barack Obama is a Muslim, not a Christian — allegations that are false. “He carried a Koran and it was not for literary purposes. If you look at it, the number of Christians is decreasing, the number of Muslims has grown. We allowed them to come in.”

Judgment days

So basically I have to be constantly assuring you I agree with your disdain for the current government just because I don't see any merit in sucking Hillary's dick over... Nothing at all. I find it strange that for any criticism I ever leveled at Hillary Clinton, not once has anybody ever responded to it with say, a list of accomplishments.

Well, damn, since you insist, here:

What Is Hillary Clinton's Greatest Accomplishment? - POLITICO Magazine
14 Hillary Clinton Accomplishments
Hillary Clinton's Accomplishments Speak for Themselves | Thomas Jefferson Street | US News
Hillary Clinton's Accomplishments
Hillary Clinton's Record of Accomplishments

Not that providing such would make any fking difference ANYWAY, because for ONE, if you REALLY wanted to know I figure you could've fucking looked it up YOURSELF.

Which means either YOU don't really want to know, or don't consider any of the things listed above as accomplishments. But hey, no problem. Keep on rationalizing how/why those of your ilk sat back and essentially HELPED place a fascist in the White House.

Maybe the GOP can do for labor what you figure Hillary WOULDN'T have done.

Yeah, they made up a whole bunch of shit about Obama. It's really what the right does at this point.

The point I was making wasn't that there were no accomplishments, it was that her supporters don't feel the need to ever mention them without a prompt. Because she's so self-evidently great and all that jazz.

I had actually read a lot of those articles before your post here. They mostly focus on things she did prior to having political power. SCHIP is good stuff, I'll agree she was a good secretary of state. Look at that, my head didn't explode.

You understand I voted for Clinton right? Why? Because she was better than Trump. Am I supposed to pin a fucking medal on her for that? Yep, the carefully groomed service dog sure is better at being a dog than that three legged mutt drinking the antifreeze. Lets not ever explore how it lost the show, lets just condescend to everyone who isn't stroking the red rocket hard enough.

Like I said, I voted for Clinton. I had no desire to see Trump get anywhere near the launch codes, or left alone in rooms with dictators. Despite the fact I loathed her voting record and corporatist ties. I'm sorry your world view is so goddamn narrow you can't comprehend a person holding two conflicting ideas in their head at one time.

As for this:

Yeah, what, because it would be fucking absurd for the democrats to actually be pro labor as opposed to "slightly less anti-labor than those other guys"

"We're better than the other guys, we're so much better, we don't even have to explain why we're better" is not a winning strategy.

"We're better than the other guys, we're so much better, we don't even have to explain why we're better" is not a winning strategy.

It has little to do with being able to "hold two conflicting ideas in one's head at one time" bud, and MUCH to do with making clear, logical, and rational choices even when presented with not quite perfect choices but with easily identifiable CONSEQUENCES (for most of us, at least) for making the WRONG one.

It ain't rocket science I think.

And like I said if the "carefully groomed service dog" "lost the fkn SHOW" then yeah, maybe that WAS because those NOT inclined to "pin a medal on her" weren't "stroking the red rocket hard enough"..., weren't fervent enough, nor dedicated enough, nor motivated enough, nor filled with enough conviction and commitment and REALIZATION enough of what was TRULY at stake that election, equivocation being a bitch and all...

y'know?

As for democrats "not being pro labor," last time I looked it was Republicans fighting tooth and nail to undermine collective bargaining, and unions, and minimum wage increases, and equal pay for equal work, etc. etc. etc.

And one shouldn't actually HAVE to 'splain" that to anyone paying any fkn ATTENTION.

and in that vein, what is the relevance of discussing Hillary Clinton at all? Let Trump deal with the ghost...

I don't care about her particularly, it's just a good example of how unreliable many of the polls in one particular phase of the 2016 elections were. Perhaps this was also true of the primaries polls.

DNC changes superdelegate rules in presidential nomination process

Chicago (CNN)Democrats on Saturday voted to chip away at the role party insiders play in choosing the party's presidential nominee in one of the biggest changes to the process in decades.

The move to limit the influence of "superdelegates" at the party's convention ahead of the 2020 presidential primaries ended an emotional and tumultuous two-year effort born out of the divisive 2016 contest between Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who went on to become the Democratic nominee.

In a surprisingly united vote, almost all members of the Democratic National Convention curtailed the ability of the superdelegates to vote on the first ballot for the party's presidential nominee beginning with the next election. The group of about 700 automatic, unpledged party leaders, elected officials and activists previously were able to back whichever candidate for the nomination they chose.
