Sorry to take up a whole thread on this, but...

After tonight,I'm going to be out of the loop for a good while...in
the land of "no computer".
(READ: I DO NOT HAVE ONE OF MY OWN AT HOME ANY MORE)

I have dealt with a couple of matters
all at once.....(breakup of my longterm relationship,
death of a parent, unemployment...and well,
i'll stop there).
We all face things like this, and it is just my turn.

Lots happened  in
few years that i lived as an actor
in NYC,
(not to mention
9/11.)

So...now i am
closer to relatives....temping...looking for a steady
job.

I still have my happiness,
my friends,
my health, and i'm grateful.
And when I get a computer I will be back.
Cheers to all of you.
Thanks for making me feel so welcome
at LPSG.

And remember...you can always start over
again from scratch...I'm out to prove it.

JEFF ("Txqis")

norseman: Wow, sounds pretty heavy, but I admire your attitude. Good luck, Godspeed, and let us know how you're doing when you can log on. We'll miss your presence.

awellhungboi: Hang in there, Jeff! You are definitely one of the good guys. And just from what you've told me earlier about your situation I think you've handled your life transitions beautifully!

Be sure and let us know when you get a computer. You can get a brand new Gateway or Dell for around four or five hundred dollars. (Although, if you're like me $500.00 might as well be five million).

Jeff, I will miss your contributions and IMs, but rest assured that I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Small consolation, maybe, but in tough times it's somehow good to know that someone cares about you.

gigantikok: Jeff, you're giving up the fight? :(

Nothing pains me more to hear a fellow performer lose hope and determination. Well, you do what you need to do, and if you can see yourself in anyother line of work, chances are it's a better idea to go in that direction. It takes alot of guts to struggle as an actor in NYC, and for that, I admire you greatly.

Here's hoping you won't be offline long, Jeff!

We'll miss your free-verse posts.

On the contrary :), gigantikok...

I said that I am NOT giving up the fight.

I just dont have a computer any more :(

This all started in NYC when my job was eliminated,
and continued through all the other stuff that
happened.

Hey, Peter...you are right,
five hundred dollars,
might just as well be five million to me at this point.
But,things are bound to change.

Thank you guys...and to my pals who PMd
me.
I appreciate that.
