thank god...our long national nightmare is over.

Aerosmith has been so wretched since they went off hard drugs 30 some years ago.

    horrible, embarrassingly bad band.

Sweet Emotion - awesome...everything since has been simply awful

    The early stuff, definitely better.

But I liked Dude Looks Like a Lady, Janie's Got a Gun, Love in an Elevator, What It Takes. I still enjoy the occasional listen on the radio.

I even have a soft spot for Rag Doll.

Also, I saw them live in 1990 and they fucking rocked.

I had a roommate in the 70s whose sister was knocked up by Aerosmith's drummer. Dream On kicks ass.

Aye, but Tyler could never really sing.

Ironically, the dude looked like a lady.

Oh, God, what will we do without Aerosmith?

I like "Dream On," but everything else I've heard from them is rather unremarkable and easily forgettable.

Didn't he stay clean, for the most part?

He certainly raised a talented, polite, refined and beautiful daughter... or at least knocked up her mother.

I love your new av, doll.

In his case, he was never much to look at on or off drugs, though I'm sure his abstinence saved his life. I heard (or read, same diff) that Liv grew up believing that her father was someone else, but I can't be arsed to actually look it up.

He came in and dropped some serious coin at a boutique I was managing about three years ago; everything he purchased was from the women's side of the store. He's seriously tiny: much smaller than me, and I'm a shrimp.

    He was very nice, BTW.

yeah liv thought todd rundgren was her father...

found out it was Tyler when she was 10...since just about every big rock star nailed Bebe Buell back in the day, could have been anyone really and Buell lied and said she was Rundgren's because Tyler was so fucked up back then that she did not think he was fit to be a dad.

Sobriety has done nothing for his appearance, for sure.

Thanks for the lazy-me reminder that it was Todd Rundgren, who has always been seriously cool. This re-arrangement of I Saw The Light in a bossa nova style just floors me.

I'm kinda sick of Aerosmith already. Every song sounds the same.
