From some of the clips I've seen they did some gay baiting scenes (Involving those 2) and that is the fault of the creators. There would of been a small fan base for them (maybe) but they used it and it grew like wild fire. if they were toxin it was because they wanted more then what the shows creators, point they should of never done it.

That's a bit absurd. At what point of the show exactly did they decide to reverse "Sterek"? It was never really a thing on the show. Quite the opposite. First season they had him following Lydia like a puppy dog.

Second season they actually brought the first in the series of the "Hale pack member bad girl that's going to deflower Stiles" except the actresses kept leaving the show (Erica, Cora then Malia) and eventually he left the show.

As for Dylan having issues with it... Well, does this look like someone who is running away from it?

That ship video was at the height of the queerbaiting and they did it for mtv votes. After season 2 came the gaslighting and Sterek shipper betrayal.

The mtv awards are fake. They told Emma Watson, a week before the announcements and the voting was even done, that she would win and wanted to make sure she knowingly had a speech ready but would also show up. Also this is still not the of either actors or agents. It's the creators/writers fault. This is what happens when you use a community for ratings

If you're responding to me I never said Dylan hated it. I said Tyler Hoechlin wasn't that big on it and found it off-putting by the end.

"But for me, personally, just because I have so much respect for Derek as the character and for Stiles as the character that… for me, it’s like, to live in that, or to really think about that… I… just for me, personally, as the actor playing the character… I feel like I would be disrespecting the character, so I don’t really entertain it, or even think about it, just because for me, it’s such a separate thing, it has… it doesn’t really have anything to do with what happens on the show."

I think his main issue was the fans tbh. He did A LOT of cons back then and since their fanbase was one of the more rabid ones he bore the brunt of that. Like that really cursed picture of some girl dressed as Stiles leaning in to kiss him while Sinqua Walls is trying not burst out laughing in the background.
I don't blame him tbh. These crazy shipping fans are total cringe. Imho. Don't come for me.

I agree but the show should have never of used queer-baiting tactics to begin with. While I think fans have a right to ship whoever they want, they should never expect for it to actually happen but in turn if the show doesn't plan to go that root, the creators should never use it as way to get ratings it's just tacky

Except the creators didn't really do anything.
As I said, the show always aimed for Stiles to be with a particular type of woman. They just had to constantly reset the romance because the actresses kept leaving which is why they super rushed it with Malia before she might leave as well, but it was obvious Stiles was aimed to be with them. They were flirting on screen constantly - not him and Derek.
Derek himself had other female love interests.

The creators had done nothing to do with it. This isn't different than how oddly serious people started taking their fanfiction shipping with other shows like Supernatural or Once Upon a Time which gets actors and show runners super annoyed over time.
The former even had to have an entire episode dedicated to them saying: "It's fine if you guys want to have this fan fic fantasy, but this isn't what we're going to do"

I'm not the biggest Sterek person, frankly, but I can respect other people's investment in the ship to a degree. And that degree was being creepy to the performers, and antagonizing people online who don't see it or care for it. And yeah, it's easy to see there was quite a bit of queerbaiting around TW, let's be honest. The show was also extremely good at having hot people take their clothes off with loose plotting.

As for Tyler's role and life. I'm disappointed in his OF and the shittiness of it all. I don't super care for how he identifies per se, if he says he's queer, straight, trying to figure out his label, that's not really an area of concern. Doing it in the public eye, too, must not be easy, but I genuinely don't care. I do care, however, that we should not be using language to demonize addiction, while also recognizing the fact that it makes a person an unreliable narrator of their goals. Posey is not a crackhead not a druggy, but a human being with a history of addiction, and that addiction is making his decisions bad.

I agree fans do unfortunately get aggressive I remember with Glee how annoying people got with Finchel or Supernatural's ships (One was just down right creepy). I don't like when fans push there wishes to that extant on the show (Rather actor or creator etc.) , but from what I read the creators of TW made the decision to lean into it for ratings and that to me is big no no.

My recollection was the Sterek shippers claiming the female Hale pack character was them creating a girl Derek since they wouldn't put Stiles with Derek.

Also to the theory Stiles could be Bi, there was that episode where someone was killing virgins and Danny offered to deflower Stiles and he thought about it before realizing Danny was kidding:

SCOTT: And why are you talking like he's already dead? He's just missing.
STILES: [hysterically] Missing and presumed dead because he's probably a virgin, Scott! And you know who else is a virgin? Me. I'm a virgin, okay? And you know what that means? It means that my lack of sexual experience is now literally a threat to my life! Okay, I need to have sex, like, right now. Someone needs to have sex with me, like, today. Like, someone needs to sex me right now!
DANNY: All right, I'll do it.
STILES: [yelping] What???
DANNY: Come to my place at nine. Plan to stay the night. I like to cuddle.
STILES: [earnestly] Oh, that is so sweet. Are you kidding?
DANNY: [exasperatedly] Yes! I'm kidding!
STILES: [offended] Okay, you know, you don't toy with a guy's emotions like that, Danny! It's not attractive, all right?

Actually, a better scene was when a girl asked him if he liked girls and boys and he also thought about for a moment and never gave her answer

There is an easy explanation for this.
Dylan strives to work hard, that has led him to work on big projects with actors like Michael Keaton and getting projects on hulu or netflix. While Posey... Well, he's back on drugs and scamming people with his OF because no one would hire him and that was his only solution to earn money.
Well, also, Posey is a shitty actor and Dylan isn’t.

This reminds me that this is how they are acting the SuperCorp fandom, those crazy fans (mostly girls) attacked Chris Wood to the point that the actor had to deactivate his comments on instagram. And all because Supergirl was with a man and not with Lena xD like... That's some Chernobyl level toxic sh*t.
