I appreciate the tone and detail of your response, even if others on here do not.
I however could not disagree with you more. History is full of artists who laid it all on the line for the fans- who wanted to be extraordinary by going further and doing things their peers did not do- for the love , the adrenaline rush, the desire to be seen as different and daring and edgy. But since their moral compass would frequently cause them to regret the more outrageous things they did- -or felt they had to do - they invariably had to numb themselves through substances to get through it
Monroe. Garland . Joplin. Hendrix. Elvis. See the pattern?
People Magazine has come out with a piece today revealing that Posey is no longer sober- 24 hours after I said on here that he is in decline. And that piece does not tell half the story. It is therefore not a coincidence that his content in the last few days is more revealing.
So he will, I am sure, now do whatever he feels he has to do to please his fans. Therefore, things will continue to get better- or worse- depending on which side of this fence you are on.
