Is it just me or is the U.K. experiencing freakish weather this summer? I heard and saw some videos of the severe floods throughout the U.K. It seems like everyone is o.k., though. Anyone from the U.K. who was caught in the floods?

For those of you who aren't aware of the flooding, here is a clip from youtube.

Some people have died in the floods. I live away from the floods although we have had thunderstorms and heavy rain every week for at least two weeks now. Its supposed to be summer.

Some places have had more than 2 months rain in 24 hours.A lot of homes have been ruined but I haven't heard that anyone died. There's no mention of any deaths on the BBC news website.
I'm on high ground,it never floods where I live.

Our thoughts and preyers are with those of you in the UK. Lived through the Great Floods of 1993 (both in Des Moines IA and St. Louis MO) and know what you are going through.
