OMG

This is a great site - I didn't really look very far, but how about this one "meal" without a drink? Your entire daily calories and over double you daily fat and salt.

CalorieKing - Calorie Counter - Calories in Chili's Grill & Bar Restaurant, Sandwiches & Burgers: Burger, Southern Smokehouse, with Fries & Ancho Chile BBQ Dressing

Most people are clueless to the idea that one meal could actually contain a whole day's worth of calories. All they know is it tastes good. And until their health goes over the cliff they never will care.

I am not surprised. In this country, we are obsessed with getting big portions for less money. Thats why buffets are so popular here. I never go to a buffet. I can hardly eat one plate, never mind two. Locally, we have some nice restaurants that have early bird specials (8.99-9.99) The portions are perfect. Just enough so you are not hungry but certainly not complaining of a belly ache. It is all about portion control, and avoiding fast food whenever you can.

This country is getting fatter but I just browsed through the first 40 pages in the gallery and I've only found 2-3 stocky and not even chubby guys with a big cock!

Where are they hiding then?? 90% of the guys here with big cocks are all skinny/fit.

There must be more overweight guys with big cocks?!

People want their sodas, chips, candy, cookies, fries, and any kind of mood altering carbohydrate. SUPER SIZE ME!
Some of the women with whom I work gripe nonstop about their weight. They are putting the children of the vending machine man through college. Every time you turn around they have sodas, chips, candy bars, and cookies. I would like to have the money they spend on junk.
My brother and his family exist on that crap. I was raised to eat lean meat, whole grains, vegetables, fruit, and avoid processed crap. We raised a garden for the quality of the food. I buy organic because it tastes like food did when I was a kid. Organic fruit has a flavor that most regular fruit lacks.
Put the soda back, and nobody gets hurt.

Once you learn to control your thoughts and emotions and in turn develop self discipline you will find loosing weight and maintaining health becomes second nature.

The irony here is that self-control requires glucose, which makes trying to use self-control to lose weight a difficult game to win.

When I'm trying to actually lose weight, it's one of my goals to make sure that I don't feel hunger pains. I eat whenever I feel hungry because I believe that remaining sated on healthy food that has a lower calorie:volume ratio or very high fiber are important to keep from being tempted to gorge oneself on something unhealthy, which I tend to do if I become too hungry and impatient (that second article explains why this happens to me). The easiest way I've found to avoid temptation is to eat oatmeal several times a day and carry fresh fruit and bags of crudites with me to snack on in between meals, like apples, bananas, grapes, pears, oranges, celery, those bags of fresh washed broccoli/cauliflower/carrots and other salad or fresh stir fry veggies that you can buy from the grocery store.

Yeah. It amazes me how people don't realise willpower is your body using up energy. People seem to think it's this magic quality that's independent from everything else and you can have as much of it as you want.

On the other hand it works a little like a muscle in that studies show you can train yourself to accept longer delays for the same reward.

This is a gift my parents gave to me, teaching me to stay healthy. As I've grown older I have seen more and more friends succumb to a variety of health problems that were probably either caused or worsened by their unhealthy lifestyles. I know that much of this is simple luck that I have avoided health issues, but I know that my parents taught me by example with their own lifestyles how to live healthier. I am deeply grateful for that and I become more and more grateful the older that I get.

I wish to pass on that gift to my son.

Petite, it is great that you had parents who encouraged you to keep your health in mind and make good choices. I have always been active, but once I started concentrating on eating proper, nutritious foods, I was amazed at how much better I felt.

My parents did a good job teaching me how to eat healthy as well, and I think that this is one of the most beneficial subjects to teach children from a young age.

not that it matters that much, but the U.S. isn't the most overweight nation in the world, . It has the highest percentage of obese people, at 34 percent, which is staggering, but i think it's roughly 60 percent or so overweight. samoa is like 90 plus percent overweight. So there are plenty of fit people in the U.S., its just there are a tremendous amount of people that just let themselves go all the way.

Yes, there is a difference between being morbidly obese and being simply "overweight".

I pointed that, I believe, about an "South Pacific island" that has a very high number of fat people.
