Word up, power to ya sista!  We need more women like you out there!  I've been made to feel inadequete to not bring a women to an orgasm, it is a shitty feeling.

Sometimes when all the conditions seem to be right and I really, really want to climax, it evades me. Other times, when I'm sure that I won't be able to and make love because he wants it, I can have a resounding orgasm. There isn't always a logic to it.

Tender: well i enjoy the getting there--the inbetween.
i like the intimacy and emotional closeness, not just doing it to orgasm.
some men are selfish, no doubt, and a lady gets a 10 min quickie whereupon he is satisfied, and she is left hanging.... that IS his fault.
but many times we make love and i dont even desire to orgasm, sometimes i like to just pay attention to him, and just feel it...does that make sense?
i know sounds wierd!

aussiechick63: I don't always orgasm either. My man knows that and thats not his fault. I never make him feel guilty for it or that it is his fault.
Who I am talking about with the comments I made earlier are the selfish guys that are only concerned with their own pleasure. There are a lot of them out there too. Why should I feed their egos and make them think the sex was good.

gicast: I have, and felt guilty. But generally, NO I do not, I agree with the other ladies, it's not always necessary to orgasm. Sometimes I have several "almost orgasms" and those are pretty good, (or are they mini orgasms?) who knows? Anyway, my hubby feels let down if I don't but he knows that my mind has to be in the right place, and sometimes, frankly we do it for him. Or just to be physical with each other.

And yes, HE has faked, when it seemed to go on and on and on (like the energizer bunny) just to put an ending to the stuff. and YES I did know! I can feel when he cums. (we don't use condoms)

And Tender, you make perfect sense, I feel the same way! Sex for women is VERY emotional so sometimes, it's only for that, that I want sex.

roedhunt: This is going to sound so contradictory, but so be it.

Having been around the block a couple of times, there are those men who could care less if I came. Then those who would find out I rarely would cum, so it became a challenge. To which they just gave up because I took too long. Then finally the ones that really cared.

In my life I only came with two men..yes two. They were patient and didnt care if they came. The others never engaged in foreplay on my end of it. It was foreplay for them only. And no, they werent young... All same age as I or older.

I believe that it comes from a guys first sexual encounter. If his first is just a wham bam, then he continues his pattern and it isnt until a woman says "whoa boy. what about me?". If his first is a passionate one or with an experienced woman, he will become more nurturing and more concerned with her happiness as well as his. However, this only comes from my own experience.

So to answer the question honestly I would have to say yes. Even if I want sex (or lovemaking) as much as he does, I can tell right away that he just wants his rocks off and if I cum, I cum. Usually I know that because no foreplay occurs. None. Sorry, but I cant get off with just sex alone.

So who is to blame? I say both parties. The man needs to remember a woman needs clitoris stimulation, not vaginal. And a woman needs to get up the courage to speak up and say, "I'm not ready yet. Turn ME on". I hate it when a man just dives in without getting his feet wet... ;D

A man is a microwave and a woman is a crockpot.

You should see the South Park Christmas album. One lyric is 'You can suck all the dick you want and still be a virgin, Mary'

Seriously, I've faked, usually when I just want to get it over. You can tell when I fake too; my voice suddenly increases from its normal volume to a fortissimo. When I'm actually cumming, there's a slow crescendo and my pitch slowly goes higher.

Oh yes, I have done that. However, no matter how its presented, a man feels insulted that he has to be "shown the way"....

Hey, that would be an interesting post...... ;D

Annie, if he's doing slam, bam, thank you ma'am, and has the nerve to get insulted when you want him to slow down and think about the other person in bed with him, then kick his sorry ass out of that bed, Girl!!

Not for me.

When gf's actually spoke out out (or at least hinted) they wanted some attention to a spot, I was tickled to oblige. When I was younger I didn't always clue in right away as to exactly what it was they wanted but anytime they clearly let me know their desires I was happy to comply without insult or shame. I'm there to pleasure her just the same as she does for me. I'm certainly not into quickies that leave only one partner satisfied. That's would be selfish.

roedhunt: I kind of figured I would get reponses from that comment... It wasnt just one man.. it was almost all of them who did that. Perhaps its just me...not demanding "proper attention".. ;D

The time era I grew up in (or perhaps the location), guys thought it was revolting. So I just accepted the fact that men just didnt do it. I found a few that did as I got older (and when I lived in other states), but since I was so accustomed to men who didnt enjoy it.. let alone DO it... I was and still am, uncomfortable with receiving oral sex. It is too intense for me (too wet as well) and when its happening, the same thought is repeated over and over in my brain.... "He's not enjoying this. He's not enjoying this"...

Now I KNOW I just opened a can of worms here... but take heart.... I have just accepted the fact that oral sex given to me is nonexistent and not wanted ... by me... So when I do find a man (rarely) that does that, 2 minutes in I usually have him stop and I proceed to give him oral sex.

The foreplay I like is fingering.. that is the ultimate toe curler for me... ;D

Cripes, looking back on what I wrote, I know the replies will be endless... ah well.. Bring 'em on.....

wvalady1968: No, Annie, I'm not gonna say anything, Hon. You make the calls in your life and should go with what you want and feel comfortable doing!

I wish for better for you, and there's better out there. I know that nice, sweet, loving guys go unnoticed every day. I hope you find the right one for you, the one who'll make your toes curl in many ways!

Doubtless_Mouse: see my question comment would be this, I thought all sex started with touching...the neck, the ears, the arms, the stomach, the body ::)...then once it seemed like that started the mood, you moved on to breasts :-*...work them for awhile and eventually work your way down from them to the playgorund. Never thought you just dove in feet first always thought you had to test the water first.

As far as not enjoying or wanting oral sex, every person on this big green and blue ball is different. I think you should start on your own enjoy yourself then call the shmuck in (if you still felt like you wanted that). It is a shame that there are still men out there that don't understand that sex/love-making is about two people not one...

Doubtless_Mouse: Wanted to add something here...I too like the occasional quickie but even then I want to make sure my partner enjoys (I am lucky in that my wife is orgasmic, she comes from fingers, oral, and penetration). I actually envy her being able to come many times (5 - 6) per sexcapaid, though after the one time i am so sensitive not sure i would want to continue.

Savannah: All kinds of issues floating around in this topic.

There are different kinds of orgasms for women.....little repetitive ones and the explosive ones and just about everything in between. Most importantly is for people of both genders to know what feels good to *him/her*. Another resounding argument for masturbation.

Most men are thrilled being guided to providing a woman with orgasm(s) and take great pride in achieving [that] (which should also apply vice-versa).

The key is communication. As for noise....thank the Goddess for loud music so neighbors won't complain!

As for the microwave/crockpot thing *chuckle*; sometimes it's just hot and *now* and sometimes it's slow and easy; a time and place for both.
