Mincing around the pitch? CHECK!
Snogging each other after a goal? CHECK!
Groping each other on pitch? CHECK!
Falling down in agony after a tap on the shin? CHECK!
Crying like a baby after above tap on shin or being knocked out of the cup? CHECK!

Off-Pitch:

Marry a Spice Girl? CHECK!
Marry a Wannabe Spice Girl? CHECK!
Have a 'FASHION' hair-cut? CHECK!
Hang out with 'fellow' A-List Gayers? CHECK!
Have a rumoured link with Will Young? CHECK!

UK Gay Footballers? Surely not....? Whatever gave you that idea?

There are lots of gay footballers in britain. However, the sport itself is still a 'mans' sport and if a footballer came out they would be crucified by fans and fellow players alike.

Worldwide there are a whole load of sexy players and i will forever be grateful to all those hot guys who flash their bulges in their sexy little silky shorts!

I think i've just came down one leg thinking about them!

Of course there are gay footballers but I think that original list was mainly a wishlist :biggrin1:
Football isn't the sport to come out when your in it unfortunately.
In my experience, there are more gay and bi men than straight men so it stands to reason there are a lot of them in football but I should imagine they have to keep in well under wraps.
I know some rugby players who are very bi too

How do professional footballers who are gay find sexual partners?
They couldn't go out to pubs/clubs etc. else someone there may tell the press.
Plus, even if they did manage to pick up a guy, he could easily sell his story to the press and "out" the footballer at the same time.

Ashley Cole is gay and I know this through Cheryl's best friend. Their marriage is one of convenience only.

I have suspected this myself and always felt when the story broke Ashley Cole had had an 'affair' supposdly with a hairdresser, that really it was a cover up story by his agent and the real truth was he was going with a man.

I also think Sol Campbell may have been involved with Ashley Cole while they were both at Arsenal and big Sol was giving and Ashley was taking lol. It would explain why Arsen Wenger got rid of Sol so quickly desptite him playing fatastically well in the Champions League final several years ago.
