the goal of the internet was to be a source of uncensored and free information. as soon as you bring in censorship for what ever reason good or bad. the question of what you censor and who censors it starts. there are always good reasons but was the road to hell not paved with them? the internet should be a free and open source of information and news.

the internet should be totally free from regulation, except really extreme stuff, like kidy porn. as for the bloke who said something about terrorism, hey im on the "watch list". did you know they can take me in without charge, sentence me without evidence or in front of a jury of my peers (ha as if) they read my emails, they listen to my phone calls, this isnt me being paranoid, imagine what thats costing you, now think about what it costs to train and pay a nurse.

this bill is DANGEROUS. you open this door and you cant shut it again, and all sorts of horrible shit is going to come through.

Peace and love always

censorship no matter how nice it is packaged is censorship. i would never and i mean never in the strongest terms ever say kiddie porn is acceptable. but is terrorism making money through kiddie porn now another door is open. and a another. then we are here when councillors can watch your inter net use and read your emails. makes you think ?
