Im a 30 year old gay guy from Cornwall in England. I was almost circumcised 8 years ago due to my cord tearing badly & I was referred for circumcision by my doctor. After some time the referral never arrived & my cock healed pretty well,it was t causing me an issue so I didn’t case it up.
The problem however is that since then it has happened several times again. Not just that but also cuts and tears on my foreskin aswell, I think purely because my foreskin is too long and and it grazes and gets in the way. I am forever pulling it down during sex and in all honesty it’s just an ugly problematic thing that only does more harm than good.

So at the age of 30, I have finally plucked up the courage to go back to the doctors & get my referral for circumcision! If I am honest I regret not having ow not having it done sooner as I understand it can be a bit of an ordeal.

Personally I have no issue in the fact that I will loose my foreskin and become a cut guy. It cleaner and I actually think personally that it looks more sexy, attractive and masculine.

My partner also approves and says that he is looking forward to me being cut, he had his cock pierced recently and is really pleased with it aswell. He is now more sensitive and comes every easily! I also happen to think it looks great and really suits him.

My ask for advice is this really, have any of you guys been in the same or a similar situation and been circumcised as an adult? Have you been cut as a teenager, in your twenties or thirties and how has it been for you? How did it feel after? How long was the recovery period and are you now pleased with the results? It would also be interesting to find out if anybody commented after you were cut and what their reaction was.

Cheers guys!

I had it done a few years ago, it took some time to heal and full recovery was around 6 weeks. I’m mixed about the results and how it looks (mine was not a tight cut), but absolutely no loss of sensitivity. (Just need lube more now!)

I had it done 5 years ago. No regrets at all.

My advice - go to the clinic in Luton, ask for a high/moderate cut so you retain the inner foreskin which is a lot more sensitive and above all else pay for skin glue. This gives a much neater result and halves healing time.

I got it down a while back as well. It took a little over a month before I could go back to having sex and masturbating. There was a bit of. A learning curve at first however I got used to it and now it all works fine. I do use lube now which was probably the biggest change. Go easy on it the first few months since it’s no longer protected it can get raw or chaffed a bit easier now. My wife was with me before and after and she has mentioned that she really can’t feel a difference and that she doesn’t have a preference either way.

I was cut three years ago and it's great - no problems at all, quick healing, painless (which was a surprise): no loss of sensitivity either. Choose a good clinic and make sure you get the style and tightness you want.

Hope all is well with you now and are healing rapidly. I was circumcised at age 29 which is many years ago now. I was frightened of the whole thing at first but went through with it and found it to be no big deal. They did not have glue in those days so I had stitches and those had to be removed. I do agree with the above on the glue if it is available get it. I got a loose cut so masturbation changed very little for me but I still like to use lube. The wife notice very little difference except in blowjobs. I noticed a small difference the first couple weeks but got back to what it was before the circumcision procedure.

I just had a peak at your verification pic - that's a great result. I hope mine turns out that well! I'll be glued (already discussed with the doc - only stitches if excessive bleeding) and it's a specialty circ practice so I've got every confidence that things will go swimmingly.

Weird to think that this time tomorrow it's all done and over (then just the healing fun to put up with), and my member is permanently changed.

I'd go with all of that. I also went to Luton five years ago (I know it was not the same day as #ukboy!), and had glue. It results in a very even and almost invisible scar. Painful it is not. Uncomfortable at times, maybe, but no worse than any serious cut healing - tingling and occasionally a bit itchy. I think a lot of the reported pain is from guys circumcised for phimosis, and who suddenly have a bare helmet which is very sensitive.

Good luck with it, and let us know how you go!

About 7 hours in to life with a new penis and so far so good - procedure went well, no pain as yet just mild discomfort - as mentioned above by glansout it's just the sensitive head I feel the most, as I did have phimosis.

Not wanting to hijack this thread or create one of my own, if anyone is considering the same and has any questions feel free to reach out in a message!

I’m 30, I’ve been thinking about having this done for the last 10 years but just haven’t found anywhere or anyone who has had it/recommend a clinic. Also I have no idea what type, I’ve googled but I just don’t know what would be best ‍♂️

There are plenty of guys in the UK who have got done, you might make contact with. Cutting Club is useful in that respect. I was cut at Thornhill Clinic, Luton and re-cut at IMC in Wembley. Both are excellent clinics. Send a message if you want to know more.
