It's not a song about the circus, its a song they play AT the circus.

It's kinda like "The Gonk" from Dawn of the Dead '78.

Theres only 2 riffs I can think of to match it...

Dono the name of this song, seeing as how I got bored and made it lol. My friend says it sounds like another one:
    ----------------14----13---------------------14-----14-----
    -------14---------------------------14---------------------
    ----------13-------13----13------------13--------13----13-
    ---11--------11-----------------11--------11---------------

    ----------------14----13---------------------14-----14-----
    -------14---------------------------14---------------------
    ----------13-------13----13------------13--------13----13-
    ---13--------11-----------------13--------11---------------

    ------------------14----13---------------------14-----14---
    -------14---------------------------14---------------------
    ----11------13-11----13----13----11----13-11-------13-13-

Now for the next one : Queen - We Will Rock You, Intro is from an actual circus song.

I just know it's NOT The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down, although your musical clue closely matches the actual lyric. :biggrin1:

After a first glance I thought it could be pretty much anything - If my guess is correct, I think I might deserve the LPSG psychic award :biggrin1:

Soo close... but not quite Cancan...

Though that is a very circus-esque song. Ugh, if only I could find it! omg!

I think they use it in movies a lot, usually during a slowmotion kinda scene.

It's usually related to trapeze artists.

    I can't remember!

I believe the "song" you are looking for is a march called "Thunder and Blazes." I'm guessing this only from your da da da's and the fact that it's the most famous circus march. Hope that points you on the right track.

well, its called "thunder and blazes" at the circus, but its actually called "Entrance of the Gladiators", but thats not it, though it sounds very similar to that song when t breaks down into the slow part.

I'll keep looking, omg, this is driving me mad!

(Also, Three Dog Night used "Thunder and Blazes" in their song "The Show Must Go On")

    Okay, look at this...

    Circus Freaks

Look at the song "Clowns" it sounds almost exactly the same as that song, very slow and everything.
