Basically, the "retraction" of the foreskin basically occurs because the erect penis is longer than the flaccid penis. (I should hope everyone here knows that datum.) The skin doesn't swell the way the corpora cavernosa and corpus spongiosum do, so the foreskin picks up the slack. It generally doesn't expose the entire glans, but there is some retraction.

Mine's the same way. Except it looks no different than a circumcised one when erect; the skin pulls back all the way.

The one thing that keeps it from looking cut is some 'bunching up' of the foreskin just behind the corona.
