Splitting Heirs: A great film starring Eric Idle, John Cleese, Rick Moranis, Catherine Zeta-Jones and several others. As the cast would suggest, it's a silly film. Sadly, despite the cast - it didn't do well. Most people haven't heard of it and most of those that have, hate it.
Clockwise: Another classic with John Cleese. Although well-loved by some, it remains obscure.
These are two of my personal 'holy trinity' of British comedy films (the third being 'Nuns on the Run' - a more appreciated classic).
A View to a Kill: It isn't the greatest Bond film, but really doesn't deserve its bad reputation. Yes, Roger Moore was getting older and the idea of young women lusting after him seemed hard to believe. That shouldn't be enough to condemn the film. One major criticism is that the death scenes are treated in an apathetic manner. But, I've always viewed that as an extension of Max Zorin (Christopher Walken). As a villain, he's a heartless psychopath - I think they were trying to emphasise that. It certainly doesn't deserve a rating of 39% on Rotten Tomatoes, when 'Die Another Day' gets 59%.
