I'm lucky to have a left hand and a right hand. If I extend them as far as I can I have an extreme right, and the extreme left.

I'm very lucky also that I can't keep my arms extended out there for long periods because the circulation to those regions starts to become constricted.

Even if this is all true, where does that leave anyone? The article itself is prejudice, communicating a stereotype of liberals and conservatives as intolerant even though many individuals on both sides certainly are not.

Indeed... and the only reason I even talk about being "on the left" is because that's where I do tend to land. I'm not one to throw a blanket over the whole thing and call one side an ass and the other a bigger ass.

I should have simply posted that ones political ideology isn't a deciding factor as to why they were motivated to commit the act.

I do call Chrump out for being pro-violence in his rhetoric... but I don't think that was because of his political beliefs (because he barely has an original thought, he just listens to the last person blabbering in his ear or whatever alex jones says) .. he just wanted everyone to praise him and make him feel good and anyone who challenged him on that got kicked out. Don't you think that's a bit of a vague definition? I figured Progressivism meant something more specific. If it's simply referring to an ideology that has some sense of promoting the progression of humanity to an improved state, then someone who believes that a sharply delineated and stratified society according to IQ would lead to the progress of humanity could be called a Progressive...

Well, I'm not sure that always avoiding killing people under all circumstances will best aid an ideology of progress. Unless this is a spiritual progress that necessitates pacifism? Any idea of progress with any worldly element to it I think could be easily obstructed by a strict refusal to kill.

Anyway, assuming you didn't actually mean for Progressivism to be something so broad and we actually do have some common understanding of what it refers to: given how much contemporary Progressivism is seemingly founded on a narrative of tension between oppressors and oppressed, I have witnessed quite a number of Progressives advocating for violence in some form or another, even if most of them probably didn't have the guts to act it out.

Look up videos aimed at criticizing SJWs on YouTube and you'll see a good deal of violence associated with them.

Radical Leftist internationalists by definition cannot be fascists, no matter how violent or militant they get. Fascism has many more fundamental components beyond simply violence and extremism.
