That article paints him as a confederate heritage type, not necessarily a white supremacist (very possibly racist, but again, I don't see anything painting him as a neo nazi / kkk member. Just some southern doofus freaking out about confederate statues. Industrialsize was actually asking for examples of some people who came to the rally just to protest the statue removal and this looks like he could be one of them).

A lone swastika popped up here and there (by the admission of the Alt-Righters), but most of them knew better.
