Underwear Inventory

Whenever I go shopping, it seems that I can't leave without checking out the underwear section and most of the time I end up purchasing at least one new pair (often times more). I guess I just figure it's something I will always need. Today I had to stop myself and thought about how many pairs I actually had. I then came to the realization that I simply don't need anymore underwear. Maybe I'm addicted.

Here's what I came up with...

34 Briefs
16 Boxer Briefs
11 Trunks
10 Strings
9 Boxers
2 Jocks

Total: 82 Pairs

So guys... take inventory of your undies drawer and let me know if I'm crazy or not. Might be interesting to see who has the most, least, etc. Feel free to also break down by brand, color, etc.

If there's been a thread on this before, sorry. Didn't find anything.

I'll check my closet when I get back from my workout. But I'm pretty sure my percentages are a lot like yours: Lots of Boxers and not as many briefs, though that's changing. Don't wear boxers as much as I did last year since I switched to low-rise briefs for my low-rise jeans (check out Rufskin Denim, folks...yum).

I also prefer white rather than colored briefs or jockstraps. I find them extremely sexy on a guy and believe my FWB's think the same, judging by their responses!!! LOL

Wow! And here I thought it was just me. I have a friend that teases me about it now. Whenever we're at the gym and changing, he always laughs, and says, "I've never seen you in the same undies twice." In a store, says, "OK, I'm not sure where I'll be, but when I'm done, I'll just come and find you in the underwear department." :redface:

Here is my inventory list sorted most -> least.

Boxers - 57
Colored Briefs - 17
Low Rise/Bikini Briefs - 10
Colored Boxer Briefs - 5
White Briefs - 3
Black CK Trunks - 1

Total Pairs: 93

My daily rotation includes 18 - 20 of the above boxers that are FTL standard full cut boxers made from the 55/45 blend fabric. The rest of my stash is special occasion stuff that I don't wear often, yet it's fun to have them around. My favorite pattern is stripes.

I think that you guys are all crazy. I have 2 pairs of Jockey Scants, both about 20 years old but brand new. I threw out the others many years ago. Swinging free is way more comfortable than hot, sweaty and smelly, crammed into briefs. Same goes for bunched up boxers inside my pants. All that underwear must have cost a bundle.

I must admit, I've never counted my underwear. But I do like to go free-ballin' once in a while. Probably won't do that in a business suit or at any social gathering where exposing your johnson is not appropriate.

So yes, I'll wear underwear in church. But I haven't been there in quite a while.
