BarelyBig,

I have to say if a guy asked me that question, I would assume there was another agenda. Not to say I would be disgusted or run screaming, but I would for sure believe that he was "testing the waters" - even if he was a longstanding str8 friend. Sorry, I just think that is something a guy would ask one of his male friends, since they would have a lot more knowledge on the subject. I'm with Wonderboy on this one; I would see it as a ploy. Just my 2 cents.

water ran since the intial post, but im with SurferGirlCA too... And also...you really do complicate things too much! I was a specialist of that before too and I think you'll pretty much have all these worries go away once you start dating a girl seriously.

However it seems to me that you love the girl, you just don't want to admit it to yourself to "protect" your friendship. I've been there. I'll tell the hard truth: you cannot be friend with her anymore. you either have to do your come out or just bury the relationship.

I know it seems extreme, i know many people will not agree with that, but given your relationship, you can't stay on the same trajectory with her, it will slowly kill you.
