Unkindness and WTW

What I've just seen Dilznick do to windy is an outrage.

The words "post whore" and other unkind epithets have been used to describe her. Well everyone's interest in this site varies. We're all different. I've never once seen windy be unkind to anyone yet those arrogant few who'd limit her posting seem to think the "nice gal" in the group needs to be stopped. "Post whore"?? ... how very internet.

Yikes. Unkindess reigns supreme... and they call me "haughty"

Holy Christ people! This is too unkind for words. Simply ignore her if you find windy offensive or superfluous in any way but to publically humiliate her and accuse her of a mental disorder is outrageous and says volumes more about the accusor than the accusee.

Windy simply likes to lighten things up. She's cooled my jets more often than I can tell you. She's a decent sort and deserves better from this board in my considered opinion.

I have had considerable conversation with her outside of this public forum and I can tell you that (perhaps with the single exception of Webster) she's got to be one of the kindest and most sincere human beings I have met on the internet.

Those who'd censor her come off looking like controlling jerks.

This board needs some levity and lightness from time to time and "windtalkerways" provides that service for some of us very well.

To the rest of you who don't enjoy her? IGNORE HER!

The ONLY reason I posted alot
last night was because Alex
said he wouldn't return his avi
until the Holocaust thread was
off the first page of the Et Cetera
Forum...so I did it for two reasons.

A) I thought if Alex felt that strongly
about the topic, it needed to disappear.

B) It was just for a lark...I was in a silly
mood, as someone I miss is coming back
today, so I thought I'd just have a bit
of fun.

As I said when I first joined his site...I
have NEVER in the five years and various
boards to which I post EVER had people
mention how often ANYONE posts and
this only illustrates the petty, small-minded
mind set of the people who pass comment.

Last night was a one-off. I have already
made my specific reason quite clear.

I will continue to post jokes and tests, etc
as I think people do enjoy them.

I will also continue to banter with all the
many people I consider friends here at
the site.

I suppose I could be banned for being too
friendly.

I joined this group a couple of weeks before Windy did, and the group had lost some of my interest with the huge "fake death" affair dominating the board. Then like a breath of fresh air, Windy swept into our lives, and all at once things started to look up again.

Here is a woman with wisdom, kindness and class. Her little quips genuinely worthy of a smile. With a few kind words she can brighten your day, make you feel a little more human, little less like a robot. As for the links to various cartoons, the corny jokes... I like most of 'em, but I'm still smiling when I groan at the others.

If she hadn't arrived would I have left...who knows? Does she keep me coming back looking for her latest post?... Definitely.

I have to say, that I'm entirely baffled by this. I've only seen Windy express kindness toward others.

As far as the number of her posts go, I REALLY don't understand the attention people pay to the number of posts on this site, save when someone with 2 posts act like they own the place. It's not like Windy is just posting a whole list of "me too"s in the threads. All of her posts, that I've seen, even when one-liners, are at least full, thoughtful sentences.
