A picture is worth a thousand words, post a measurement that doesn`t conflict with your photos and you can let that dog go to rest.

The reason you measure on the top is because that's how long your cock is! How much of your cock goes into your hole of choice? More than what's available on the topside?

Your pelvis hits... but, wait, you still have and inch on the bottom! Better count that too.

If the penis points downward, with an 'n' shape, then it hinges along the top.

If a penis points upwards, with a 'u' shape, it hinges along the bottom.

'n' shaped dicks have a shorter measurement along the bottom and a longer one along the top. The shorter bottom length goes in to the hilt, and then you can also lodge the delta between bottom and top in.

Same with 'u' shaped dicks, except that its reversed. You go on to the hilt on the top side, and then can also insert the bottom part until it is not geometrically possible for more.

I can get in up to the pubic bone and then have an extra 2" which can be used to ram the point home, which is very useful for hitting such spots as the prostate when he is on his back and the g-spot when she is on her back.

Measuring on the top or side gives a fixed measurement of usable length, measuring on the bottom does not, you can place the end of the tape at your asshole if you want to claim a longer measurement, it is entirely arbitrary. Which direction it points is irrelevant, where it is attached is.

Look, if you use your finger in a hole, the length of the finger is measured along the bottom part until it junctions with the hand. But the Knuckle part can also go in a few centimeters. Does this mean you go in to your wrist? No. But a two dimensional measurement does not capture all penetrative scenarios that occur in three dimensional reality.

I say to measure whatever you can insert into a hole. I have an "uppie" but fuck balls deep, so I have no problem measuring from the point that I stop shoving my cock in - along the bottom of my dick. If my partner can feel it, then I get to claim it!

I agree, my wife's pussy isn't taking off inches because it's curved up. She's absolutely loving it. She says that my upward curve has fine things that no straight dick could ever do.

Go ahead and dock me whatever you want. If it helps you sleep better...

So true. The only penis you can measure correct is a straight penis. No curves up/down/right/left. All the others are more difficult to measure correct.

I just think of it in mathematical terms. A straight line measured from end to end has one answer but a curved line where two point are on the same end instead of being on opposite ends the measurement is going to be different. If you measure the total length of the line along the curve you get the actual length of the line. And yes a curved 8" line is the same as a straight 8" inch line.

As far as I am concerned any legit measuring study should measure along the top and there can be no curvature. Otherwise someone might have an upward curve and the next guy might have a downward curve. If that happens there is no standardization. Everything needs to be the same to have a fair comparison.
