Urethral sounding experiences!

Hello All!

I'm 23 from the United Kingdom (may be able to work out exactly from my name).

I've been doing Urethral Sounding since I was about 16-17, and in that time it's grown to be one of my favourites things to do, I do appreciate it's a bit marmite and often people are scared or worried it will "hurt" or cause damage. And whilst they are both technically possible, with the correct approach, patience, hygiene and technique it's perfectly safe.

I wondered who else on here has tried sounding, or indeed is a fellow sounder!

I have a couple of party tricks with the rods, more than happy to discuss via PM or on Skype (seveninchclarke)

I'm Dale from the US and I've enjoyed sounding/stretching for over 10 years. I can now insert a 3/8" diameter homemade sound the length of my shaft. Checkout my "favorites" on Xtube.com (my username is car5252). You should like x-tube...I sure do. Do you have any stretching goals? I'm a newcomer to sounding but I love it! Don't do it as often as I'd like as it is a lot of effort to get the kit out and keep it clean and hygienic, but I can comfortably take 9mm. With some effort I can take 10mm - but I don't like to force it! I'd like to work up to more over time. Having a rod down my shaft is one of the most intense feelings and has led to some of the best orgasms of my life, both solo and with my BF.

Hi Dale, sounds like you're an expert! 3/8" is 9.5mm, whereas 9mm is my comfort zone and 10mm is my stretch. I get the 10mm about a centimetre in and then hit a tight spot. With a bit of gentle pressure I can pass this tight spot and get the 10mm further in, but it doesn't feel so good. I'd like to get a litre extra stretch to make the 10mm fit comfortably. Any tips?

I'm very interested in sounding and would like to try it. I have a metal glans ring with a bead on each end and while masturbating one time I slid as much of it as I could into my urethra before it started to curve too much. Just that little amount felt amazing. The only thing I'm afraid of is getting a UTI. What is the best method to make sure it's completely sterilized and how should you store it? If you take it out and put it down does it need to be sterilized again if it's within a few minutes? Thanks for any info!

I have recently started got up to the 8mm heger ok struggling with the 9mm anyone got advice?

I can get the 9mm in but its like its so tight it rubs the lube off as it goes in so its dry when it comes out and i can feel a burn like dry metal on tissue.The 8 is almost to small. Ive tried ky, olis, surgical lube etc with the same results. How do i het to the next step and how long should i leave it in and how many times a week? Any advice?

I just started and managed 1/4", I tried going the next biggest size but it just wont strech enough. Otherwise its super enjoyable.

A friend did it to me once he asked if i had ever sounded pulled out his soundibg rods lubed it up and began inserting it into my urethra it was the most intense feeling i had ever felt. I likd it he has askdd me to come back and try a larger one next time

I have been sounding for quite a few years. I have tried many types of sounds, Biggest I can comfortably take is 10mm. I have a sound from steel pleasures that is 10mm, and has an 11mm final destination. It "pops' in and is intense. It is a little too much for me, so I am currently using the 'meat cleaver "urethral stretcher. It stretches my hole at the head. It is something I would recommend to go easy on, It would be easy to go gradually and do overnight stretches and get some gains.

I do not have a goal as such, but bigger would be better. Currently I can take a 11mm rod without any problems.
At first, an 8mm was tight, but slowly I was able to upsize.
I would like to go larger, but I need to go shopping first.

I’m Marcus from Toronto Canada. I’ve been fascinated with my urethra and putting things inside it from a very early age. As a young boy I would put bobby pins down and the tip of a Q-Tip dipped in hand lotion. It was something that intrigued me and fascinated me.
Over the years I’ve used many things such as chop sticks, knitting needles, glow sticks, glue sticks...but In recent years I bought a set of hegar sounds from a local sex shop and have come to enjoy feeling the fullness and weight of a sound go deep. I get some of the most intense orgasms with sounding - the tip of sound is likely near the prostate and a few times I’ve begun shooting my load just by having the sound in there, no jerking or otherwise. I still like to insert other objects other than sounds - recently I managed a thick glow stick. It stretched my hole and just barely fit but it fit perfectly without hurting. I’ve also used those silicone worms for fishing bait - you can get some really long and fat ones and they go in nicely.
What’s the craziest item you put in your urethra?
I have a PA piercing and recently bought a princes wand. It’s not the most comfortable to leave in for longer periods of time unfortunately.
I’m careful to clean / sanitize these items before and after each play time and also ensure they have no rough edges. I’ve scratched the inside a few times before and the stinging afterwards when peeing or cumming can be really unpleasant. But I have to say with care sounding is a real pleasure for me. I experiemented with different kind of sounds so far (metal, silicone, in combination with eStim, etc.) - but still like hegar sounds the most.... for some hot fun now and then.
