Hey Guys I'm scheduled to have the Urolift Procedure done early December. Have any of you had this done? If so , what were your experiences with it, good or bad?

I had one almost a year ago. It was easy, not painful, and I now pee like a horse and sleep all night. After a day or two you will notice a greater volume, I did hold off sex for almost a week but not sure if it would have made any difference. One of the best things I have done for myself. Only strange tart was Dr touching my penis. Not used to strange hands I guess.

Thanks for sharing your experience. It's good to know it went well for you. I too am hoping for the same result. My Urologist has touched mine several many times. Fine by me he is a hottie... LOL

How long does it take and what is there any bleeding

Took less then an hour, and for me no bleeding. Some burning the first few days, then like when I was 18.

My doctor suggested I be put to sleep, which is fine by me. My hubby is taking me. plus my insurance will pay for my whole procedure. Did you have a catheter ?

No catheter, and I was awake for the process, just blocked area being treated. They also had me take something pre surgery to relax me. I have a low tolerance for drugs and it had me walking into walls. That is why you need a driver. Being curious I had wanted to see what he was doing, but after the pre surgery drug I forgot about wanting to watch lol.
