Absofuckinglotuely <<-(spell check doesn't work on that one), I can be honest for a capitalist round eyed barbarian.
I respect China as an
enemy, because right now that is what they are. They are not competitors or business rivals,
they are the enemy. Now or later shit is going to happen. Either overt in some place that is already contentious or covert, much like how the USSR and the US danced in Central America, Africa and Afghanistan through proxies.
But of course China has no hidden agenda, right? Spare me the sanctimonious "we are the good guys" bullshit.
The PRC would fuck a snake if someone would hold its head. China needs oil and fishing rights and really doesn't give a shit what it does to steal them.

It is the worlds largest country suffering from the worse case of short dick envy imaginable. The senior ranks of the military are still licking thier wounds from the 1979 fiasco with Vietnam. Yeah we (the PRC) achieved strategic objectives, kind of sort of, but we (the PRC or the PLA to be more precise) tactically had our collective asses kicked by a little guy (that had been honing its skills against the US).
What happens to the Utopian society in the PRC when the entire nation have graduate/undergraduate degrees (something I believe which is achievable given the work ethic of the culture) and no one wants to do the shitty little jobs anymore?
I do not believe that the PRC will be able to keep its middle class happy forever and much like the showdown with the US, there will be another showdown in the PRC itself and communism lite will no longer be palatable.
