still waiting to receive my package. I bought it on the 5th, and they said they mailed it out on the 10th. No tracking number and it was sent over airmail. I'm a bit anxious and had hoped it would've been here by now. Will keep you updated. any other tips?

Oh I remember that feeling -- where the hell is my new penis pump, I WANT IT TODAY!

One tip I have for you is don't get carried away the first time you use it! It is easy to be overenthusiastic. I'd say take it out for a spin for 5 minutes at 2.5 HG. Dunno maybe even lower on the pressure. See how you feel the next day. If you are too sore, you over did it.

My other tip is this - it took me a while to figure out how to get a good seal between my penis and the cylinder. This is what I learned from some other kind pumpers at another forum.

1. Lube up the inside inch or so of the cylinder with KY jelly.
2. Lube up your penis with KY
3. Dip the bottom of the cylinder that you lubed up into a glass of warm water
4. Go into the cylinder and slowly pump up to your desired pressure.

Best of luck. It will be there soon!

Don't be cheap and get the MightyVac or whatever it's called. You pay for the cheap quality and you'll be disappointed. For the thickwall cylinder alone, you'll looking at about 80.00. Get a pump with an air release trigger and gauge so you can monitor the pressure. So, expect to pay about 130-140 for a real good solid kit that's well made and will last.

Disagree - If you've never owned or seen a Mity-Vac, you can't comment on its quality.

Mity-Vac is the more expensive model available, and they are GOOD pumps. They're also rebuildable if needed.

The harbor Freight pump works fine.
Vacu-Tech's Hand Pumps are hard plastic and look/feel flimsy to me. I know - because I HAD ONE. ALso got rid of it because I didn't want durability issues with it.

Check out the Harbor Freight pump, and sign up online for coupons. The super coupons let this STEEL/Brass hand pump be had for $15.00

At 5.5" girth, I got the 1.75" flared tube and it was slightly too big.
I bought the 1.5" and found it easier to pack and force a length gain first. Then, I switch to the 1.75" and pack that next.
I get the pull first, then let things expand.

I have to agree with Rikter8's statement above. You can get the Mityvac Brake Bleeding Kit from Amazon.com for under $30. Personally I've never used plastic hand pumps or hand pumps without gauges and before ordering my last Mity had always purchased hand pumps (other brands) from auto supply stores. All my past and present cylinders are from Vacu-Tech. Although I'm sure that there are other good tubes out there, I've just stuck with a brand that I've trusted for over 12 years.

Thank you, Gents! I love it when anecdotal data comes in to support a point made earlier.

socalanfmodel - listen bro - take it easy with the bling new toy when you get it out of the box and hook it together. ;> It is VERY easy to injure yourself with one of these in just a *minute* of over-enthusiasm. You need to give your body time and room to grow into the new pressures you will be placing on it. Tissues and the cavernosa of your shaft are not meant to be *slam-inflated* with blood. Work up a good, semi-stiffy to a full erection before you lube up and plug into your tube. Use gentle, slow pulls to take the vacuum up gradually. Work the vacuum back and forth a little, vacuum will drop in the tube as your tissues expand, but go low and slow for the first few weeks. Pull on more vacuum gently and slowly when the pressure drops, keep that needle hovering at 3" Hg. The key to gains is *time spent* in this engorged state and if you're too forceful, you'll experience pain and hurt that limits your time and ability to linger in the tube.

Like others above, I *suggest* no more than 3" mercury, 10 minutes at a time for the first 2, 3 weeks, 2, 3x/day tops. After 2/3 weeks, decide if you can do longer intervals, only slightly bumping pressure as your senses/body will allow.

Always end on a hot towel wrap, massage/masturbation to erection for 10 minutes afterwords, keeping the equipment limber and to assess if you hurt yourself. :D And CLEANLINESS cannot be overstressed. Keep your tube(s) pump clean, the acrylic tubes can be stood upright in the dishwasher if you are that lazy - dishwashing detergents will strip the lube and gunk out quickly and safely - the chlorine contained in it and high water temps also sanitize. A cruddy-assed tube is not only nasty to feel but you do not want to give yourself a really easily avoidable skin infection.

Yes!

Agreed, it is really good to get the blood moving around after you come out of the cylinder. If you can't get a really good hard-on after you've pumped, that means you have overdone it.
CLEANLINESS (snip) the acrylic tubes can be stood upright in the dishwasher if you are that lazy - dishwashing detergents will strip the lube and gunk out quickly and safely - the chlorine contained in it and high water temps also sanitize.
Great tip, and it works great. The only thing I would add is maybe turn off the "heated dry" setting on your dishwasher and let it just air dry. Heated dry gets pretty hot depending on the dishwasher, I have heard of guys melting their cylinders so they are misshapen because of heated dry.
