Okay, I recently asked about injections for ED but the urologists wants him to try the pump first. If you have E.D. and use a pump I would love to hear from you on what brand, price, how you feel about it, issues you have with it etc. Thanks guys. All who have answered previous questions...Thanks a bunch!!!!

Dear Honeydew,

Do yourself a favor and get rid of this "quack" MD. There are FDA pumps approved for this, but they are very expensive and the success rate for really and truly enjoyable intercourse is very low when compared against intracavernosal injections. But the quack is happy because in truth if he knows anything he knows you will be back again and again and he will be making all that nice green money at your expense. Shots are a natural or "better than natural" erection when compared against the pump experience.

What is done here is that a pump is placed over the penis just as those doing it for enlargement. The difference is that after it is "inflated" a constriction ring is placed around the base of the penis to restrict blood flow both in and out.

I am sorry nice lady, but the advice of this urologist proves his incompetence in this matter and his lack of current information with regards to treatment modalities for this condition. Nobody familiar with the success rate of injections endorses vacuum pumps any more. Obsolete is not the word. . . .

Don't feel bad. A friend of mine in Palm Springs went in to try and go with injection therapy. They were ready to send him in for an implant at a cost of over $35,000 rather than get him the injectables and training. Fortunately he had enough information to know that the idiot WAS an idiot and moved to another one. In the end it took a third MD to really help him and that one was believe it or not a female and was a "GP" instead of a specialist. She cared and was looking out for the patient and not for the profit motives of all the "hangers on". Good luck in your quest for a sex life.

Fuzzy,

I was hoping to hear from you. I also agree with you but he is not overly excited about injections. He goes into a light state of shock with needles and is worried this would happen then. I will be discussing this with him though as he appreciates the information gained from experience on this site.

I have used a pump and I could not maintain the erection long after removal. thankfully, I found that Cialis works very well for me. our sex lives are not what they used to be, my SO is not that interested anymore. I use the pump to stretch my penis, kind of along the lines of "if you don't use it, use lose it". and after, my thick cock is even plumper, and a few times, the wife sees, and wants to have sex.

I considered a pump before starting trimix. My problem was that I could not find a medical grade pump that would accommodate my girth. If I used the largest one to get hard I would not be able to get it sff after becoming erect. They are plenty long but not thick enough. I went as far as to call one of the companies and ask for a larger girth but was told they didn't offer anything larger in diameter. I feel they are losing customers. I've seen others here with extreme girth so I know I'm not alone.
One company offered a larger cylinder for more money but it would not accommodate the loading cone. If I can't use the cone then I'd be just as well off with a cheaper but poorer quality. I've seen large cylinders online so there is a need for them.
Just don't understand why none of the medical grade pumps offer a complete package for girthier men.
Do any of you men know of one?

Encore makes a cylinder that is 2" inside diameter. I didn't think it would be big enough but my Uro assured me that it would. It wasn't. A 2" cylinder has a circumference of a little over 6.25. He agreed to start me on Trimix.

I looked into the Encore and that's the company I called. I am 7.25" circumference so I know it would be to tight to remove after getting an erection.
On Trimix now, just started, love it so far.
