Do any of you girls practice vaginal douching? Do you get your partner to help you and do they find it a turn on?
Whats the pros and cons? I have read that it is not good as it can introduce unwanted bactieria into the vagina.

    regards

Nooooooooooooo, you can push bacteria further up, causing problems. Vagina's are kinda self cleaning. I like to play with the shower head with my husband, that can be fun. But when it comes to cleaning your actual Hoo Haw, I don't even like soap down there.

You shouldn't be cleaning too much down there or using soap, cause it destroys the natural vaginal flora.
Of course keeping yourself clean is important, just not too much.

Even though I suspect this is fishing for (weird) wank fodder, I'll answer that douching is a bad idea.

As has already been pointed out, the vagina is self-cleaning. Flushing it with solution not only washes bacteria further inside where it gets closer to the cervix and can do real damage, but it upsets the natural pH balance of the tissue which can make women more prone to UTIs and yeast infections.

A lot of the clinical information is covered here.

You're on your own for the weirdo kinky crap.

    *claps* lol, Well done.

And no, I've never done it, nor do I have the want or need to. Don't want to smell like vinegar-y flowers either... I have no idea why they're still on the market.

I haven't douched in about 10 years. The risk of infection isn't worth it to me...

Douching is a bad idea. There are way too many risks for infection and to me, it doesn't seem like it'd be a comfortable thing to try. And definitely not worth the risks!

A long time ago I did under the advice of my Mum and an aunt who said it was a law. I've learned better since and educated them as well. Not good.

And when I did it was no more a turn on than soaking my feet, but then I imagine there's someone somewhere who would wank over that as well.

People who are called douchebags give douchebags a bad name. Douchebags are functional, practical, humble, and hardworking. They're usually multi-functional, useful also as an enema bag or a hot water bag. People who are called douchebags don't deserve the comparison!

Having said that, no woman should douche unless it's recommended by her doctor for a specific condition, such as using a mixture containing Lactobacillus acidophilus for bacterial vaginosis.

No, I got it! I thought it was funny!

I wasn't being entirely serious myself when I said that people who are called douchebags give douchebags a bad name.
