A female friend of mine recently said that she only has sex with lube because she is afraid of getting scar tissue inside the vagina. She claims that over a long period of time, small tears from intercourse will accumulate into scar tissue on the walls of the vagina and this is obviously not a good thing.

Is this a concern for any of you l8dies?

I avoid partners that damage my ladybits, and take care to avoid tears wherever possible (cuz' they suck!).

Sounds pretty farfetched. A deep vaginal tear, as can occur during childbirth, could result in enough fibrosis and scarring to result in vaginal deformation.

I had two regular partners in the distant past who would occasionally get vaginal tears after vigorous and/or prolonged vaginal sex but these were invariably superficial and healed readily without any scarring, although they hurt out of all proportion to their appearance like paper cuts.

All such vaginal skin tears related to vaginal intercourse that I have heard described here or elsewhere sounded similar.

Now if she is having sex with donkeys, all bets are off.

Never heard of this. I don't know if it is physically possible, but hey, who knows for sure?

(Women's bits have not been studied by the scientific community anywhere near as much as male bits.)

    I've never, ever heard this.

I don't like lube. My body makes enough-- sometimes more than enough.

It's a problem for ladies after menopause, making enough natural lubrication. But if she's not in that age range, and really aroused first, and some considerate lovers make certain the woman comes before entry btw, she should not experience undue trauma from vaginal intercourse.

If she is hanging with someone with giant equipment, better safe than sorry. But most ladies don't need extra because they get the right foreplay. If it hurts doogie's feelings when she uses lube, he can work on his love skills.
