    Hello!
I was at the urologist and he diagnosed me with varicocele which must be repaired.I think that after excessive use of testosterone boosters and really high doses of AAKG I might develop other problems as well on my the surface of my shaft there are visible veins.Proper PE with which previously I had much success now is almost imposable now.My shaft is quite hard at the base and pumping blood isn`t effective like before.
My penis is now completely different as it was before using supplements.
Do anyone knows what it might be and how and how to take care of this ?
Varicocele repair will be enough and restore proper circulation and function of my penis ?
How to talk to urologist (I would rather prefer have less invasive -varicocele embolization)
But the most important to me is vofcourse return to normal penis function and ability to doing proper PE like before, which gave me with time great erection quality.

I've read differing accounts on varicoceles affecting erections, but most men report positive results after having them taken care of.

    Please keep us posted.

Sure Big Al I hope it will be same in my situation.I wasn`t doing proper PE for many months and I really miss these times.I was growing, having powerfull morning wood after hard PE work (damn it was worth it) without any pills and other shit.Wrong using of supplemenets and I develop only problems.
I really hope it will be all right after this help of my urologist.

    Hello!
Unfortunately my problem is still not resolved :/.
My urologist didn`t have embolization option and gave me only contact to some other urologist. He said what other people talk to me that varicoceles isn`t affecting EQ.
and explain me how it`s arises but I know one thing after supplements something change in my body.
I would be rather interested how cure my unit asap (current situation, after masive usage of supplemetnts - some visible veins on the surface, I can`t do proper PE,penis isn`t flexible, rather quite hard on the shaft and I can`t compare blood pump level to what it was few months ago durin PE,hardly can push blood further and head is soft.
I think that the greatest damage was becasue of my +10g AAKG use, mayby testosterone boosters - cirtulaction problem, but AAKG might done even some damage to my heart.
Big Al what can you advice me now ?
I actually monitor my blood presure (it`s really good 120,130/80, do gym training, eaty healthy and run few miles in the evening) For sure I do not take more supplements even break from omega 3,all testosterone boosters, ginkgo, red wine, pycnogenol, grape seed extract.Of course some of it probably help me but but some may not work as I want.
The most important what should I do to regain my old unit (I was realy happy when I had dick which I could jelq hard as see how it is growing, now it`s impossible)
    Any advice really welcome.
Mayby are here some people who develop impotence becasue of l-arginine usage ?

I had a varicocele operation about 30 years ago (it has partially reformed).
They opened my abdomen an cut three veins draining the testis.
Now the situations is satisfactory, I do not have feelings of weight in my left testis and I was able to father children. Esthetically the scrotum looks ok.
The only thing is that in the weeks after the operation I was extremely horny and (probably there is no connection to the surgery) I developed an inflammaton of the dorsal vein of the penis I guess from too much j/o-ing.

Thanks, eurotop and how look like your situation now, what about erection quality now ?
I really don`t know what is my problem, mayby same like you(mayby I`ll go tooday to my urologist once more and show him again my shaft, he still thinks that it`s on my head only) Yea, blood not drain out completely from my unit and it`s on my head...
I educate myself all the time and see on urology boards that people have this kind of problem.
    Like this guy :
" Firm-flaccid penis. My penis feels weightier, appears to be slightly bigger. The glans feels more bulbous or swollen, and the shaft feels more turgid and a little stiffer. I have seen a urologist who on clinical examination say it looks normal. But I know my penis well and I can tell that there is a physical difference - my penis feels "rubbery" and a bit hard at all times, when I have an erection, the sensation does not feel natural compared to months ago. Feels like hardening rubber."
So it looks like I will be doing many trip to different urologist cause I see that many of them don`t know how to help, say often that we can`t do much to this kind of problem or that it should heal itself with time, and I see on PE boards poeple who wait months and nothing change.
Is here someone who solved this kind of problem ? I want my normal unit back... !!! :p.

    Hi Tyraxor
I don't know where you are from, so it is a bit difficult to give you an advice where to go and what to do.
Still, I have realized that MANY MDs (even urologists) are not that competent in the "down under" area. When I got this swollen vein (that was not there before), NOBODY said that it was something abnormal. Yet, this had some influence on my erections that weren't as quickly occurring as they used to be before this happened. Until that point I would just think of getting erect and - peng - I would have a hardon. After that, the reaction became slower (and I was in my early twenties). I spoke to the doctor and he said that it was all in my mind (that's obviously what they learned and still learn at medical school, and that even the cleaning lady - no offense intended - could repeat to anyone without medical training).
After years, I realize that a swollen dorsal vein occurs often and that physicians should be better informed about. Try and google "dorsal vein penis swollen" and you will see. In my opinion, in the urology department there is a lot of incompetence and butchery going on, speak for instance the whole prostate cancer issue (urologists love to cut you up if you are scared by cancer, not caring whether your quality of life will be etc... - the same as with unnecessary histerectomies). But this is a topic that transcends our issue.

I would advise getting a cavernosagram done by a competent medical professional. This will show what, if any, venous anomalies are affecting your erections. From there you'll have something that a competent urologist can work with. You should still try to get your varicoceles taken care of.

Have you tried topical testosterone (like Androgel)? It may be a good temporary solution. Here are a few posts dealing with the subject:

Big Al I will look for professional help and will remember about cavernosagram.
Actually I don`t want mess anything with my testosterone, last check which urologist wanted to see ranked me in high range (Im 25, and free testosterone in range 2,8 - 8,0 result 7,14 actually I never thought that I will be so high in testosterone mayby it`s after this prolonged usage of testosterone boosters or it was my baseline I don`t know it)
For sure I have to go with my problem to some competent uroligist byt after reading many post Im litle concerned cause many MD`s don`t know how to help or talking that "time will cure it"
Mayby somone had this problem and cure varicose vein in penis shaft, quite hard flacid penis and other related problems ?

The Androgel is test based, but the links recommended applying it directly to the penis.

Have you tried using any erection aids like Viagra?

You should refrain from making a judgment as to what your malady is until you get it checked. If a doc dismisses your issue, simply walk out and seek a more professional medical establishment.

So do you recomend to try aply Androgel directly to my unit ?
Yes I`ve tried many meds viagra, cialis, levitra all give me some decent erection but it`s quite weak with still soft head and no comparison to time when it was few month before this crazy supplementation. There is no morning wood and shaft is much different(like not your dick with some varicose veins on shaft - not good anyway) and really painfull is impossibility to do normal PE which gave me really great EQ nocturnal and morning wood.
I read many posts about this problem and for sure will find some professional help soon.

It might be worth a try- at least until you get a thorough exam. Just make sure to OK it with your doc first.

I had a varicocele removed about 2 years ago. The doctors who embolized it told me that it didn't effect erectile function so they hoped that's why I wasn't doing it. I disagreed and told them i was getting it done for pain, but was really getting it done because I believed it caused my impotence.

Once the embolization was done, I couldn't believe the difference. My testicles became or appeared larger and so did my penis. this was probably due to the increased blood flow that was previously blocked by the varicocele. For a couple of months everything was great before the varicocle returned, and my old problem came back. I have yet to get it embolized again but I plan to.
