I had mine about 30 years ago - we decided after 3 kids, that was enough - there have been no problems - I still produce cum - just no sperm - still like to make love to my wife and during dry spells, jerk off - just like I did before I had the vasectomy, which did not affect any of the pleasure regions on my cock. What is interesting is my balls, after the vasectomy, became even more sensitive then before.

I got snipped 2 years ago (at 40), and notice several changes. First, before the vasectomy, if I didn't cum at least every 2 days, I noticed my balls feeling really congested. There was a huge feeling of release and draining in my balls after I came. This is TOTALLY GONE now. No feeling of buildup, no feeling of release. This is good and bad. Good in that I don't go crazy if I don't cum every day or other day. Bad in that orgasm is now different. The "good feeling" of cumming is the same, it's just without the feeling of release. I know guys who say they have experienced the same thing, and those who haven't. Physiologically, my experience makes sense since the sperm are released into my body, instead of building up in my balls prior to orgasm. Just my 2 cents.

Just had a vasectomy last week. Other than some discomfort for 2 days have seen no ill effects. Started fucking again 5 days later. Sperm makes up less than 1 percent of ejaculate so you'll still be able to coat your splooge wherever you want.

For my wife and I, me having a vasectomy was absolutely the best thing for our sex life. it was a simple procedure and I was in and out of the doctor's office in less than a hour. I took off a Friday to have it done and was at work Monday. No one knew a thing. it was not painful. Sex at first was by masturbation and then within a week or so normal sex. We had to use a condom for a few weeks just to be sure, but after going back to the doctor's office they said I had no swimmers. It is so great to not worry about pills and the side effects or having to put on a condom. We just keep bottles of lube around. Just lube up and go after it without any worries. We have discussed this before, but afterwards we became much more sexually active. And sex without anything on to me is the best sex going. So for us, it has been well worth the hour or so in the doctor's office. I think it liberates your sex life. Go for it.

I could never have a vasectomy as I feel part of my primal masculinity is my sexual fertility. It would be taking away my ability to do the most powerful and long-lasting thing in my life.

With all due respect for you and what you say, jason_els, there are those who say that what you do after you unload your sperm and make a baby is more important.

My wife & I decided we're not the parenting type. She was having problems with being on the pill, so I said I'd get a vasectomy. Best decision I could have made, & I can honestly say I've never regretted it. Never affected my desire or performance of sex, & no noticeable difference in the amount of cum or the sensations of climaxing. If you're sure you don't want kids, go do it. If you're unsure, better not rush into it. I'm a widower now & wouldn't change it if I could.
