My boyfriend and I were curious how much I could take girth-wise. Instead of springing for an expensive dildo, last night we tried a daikon radish covered in a condom. We cut the head so it was tapered and measured its girth at 6 and 5/8ths inches. It stretched me out really well, but along with some clitoral stimulation I came really quickly and intensely.
