Good news guys, i am starting to finally feel like my normal self again. Epididymitis went away. For the first time today in a while i blew a load and was ready for round two, bein rock hard. I'd say im 90% back to normal.

Doctor is doing some more tests on my hormones at my request just to make sure everything is good there.

Blood pressure goes up and down throughout the day, trying to get this moderated still. Haven't smoked weed since.

I am really worried that I am gonna be like this for life, please give me some input.

About a week ago, I noticed when jacking off it didn't feel as intense as usual and i had a hard time keeping it up. I had a rough week and wasn't feeling my usual self. I had sex a few times with a girl completely comfortable with and she noticed as well and asked why my penis was softer than usual. Twice i went limp with her and couldnt get back up, i told her just wasnt in the mood and we would try again later. She feels it is her fault and is bummed out too, and it is entirely not true (i talked to her).

I am 100% positive this isn't performance anxiety as I am very comfortable sexually and even when im by myself. I used to be able to pop a boner whenever I wanted just by thinking of something sexual and could maintain it forever.

I had another post, but didn't get the ansnwers I was looking for.

I had epididymitis about 3 months ago and had it treated with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories.

I felt an occasional tinge of pain of epididymitis so I saw the doctor again and also brought this up. My blood work is perfect all around. Testosterone is 289 which i think might be low but dr. says is fine. My blood pressure was really high and i got put on blood pressure medicine. I eat healthy and exercise a lot, i believe the blood pressure is hereditary. I smoked pot almost once daily for the past 6 months and ive quit for a week now and am planning on staying clean for a long time as it just got old. STD free.

I think my bike seat may have caused the epididymits this time as it has been irritating my perenium and i am forced to ride it (and ive tried 3 seats)

So as of now i have bp medicine, anti-inflammatories, antibiotics, and i got an ultrasound of testicles ordered.

Is there anything i can do in the meantime? I wish my doctor would give me something like viagra or something. I may not have made it clear how much of a problem this is and it is really hurting my feelings. Ive went from having rock hard erections randomly and on command all of a sudden to a 4 on a ten scale erection.

Please reassure me i wont be like this for life, i hate it!

Blood pressure medication can cause impotence.

The solution is simple although not easy.
1. Drop that Weed permanently.
2. Eat Healthy. (You may not be eating as healthy as you might think)
3. Reduce your sodium intake.
4. Drink more water. (most people need to drink more water)
5. Exercise Exercise Exercise
6. Buy a new bicycle seat like the one below. They were invented for women but men have discovered they help with blood flow problems to the penis.
7. Stop stressing out about it.

Do that and your health will improve perhaps even to the point of being able to get off your BP medicine (with doctor's okay of course)

Good news guys, things are just about back to normal. I stopped taking my bp meds, i think that was causing it. I do have slightly high bp but i am watching it and trying to get it down naturally through cardio and better diet. Doin some kegels, got the epididymitis fixed (bike seat problem), and im feelin better.

This whole ordeal does give me a bit of performance anxiety now, anything i can do to help that? Im always paranoid i wont be able to get hard even though i can once again.

Did your doctor take you off them or did you?

If the latter, you'd best mention it to your doctor a.s.a.p. Stopping B.P. Rx can have severe consequences.

I've been on different hypertension meds for 18 years. (lotensin, 10mg 1/day)

I agree with sexplease, if your Dr. didn't take you off the BP meds, you need to call him and tell him you aren't taking them anymore. It is of course your choice whether to take medication, but you need to tell your Dr., especially if you are on a higher dose of the calcium channel blocker. A lot of good an erect dick will do if you aren't alive to use it.

As for the performance anxiety, just try an relax. I'm a worrier, so I tend to worry about everything, but I've just had to try and learn to let it go. If it happens, it happens. Every single male will, at some point or another, have problems getting an erection, and the ones who say they don't are lying. It happens to everyone. Just relax and don't have sex with people that aren't understanding of that fact. That's all I know to do.
