Kegels are awesome, I'll do them when I'm driving, sitting in class, on the computer. My erections are way harder, my ejaculations are more forceful, orgasm is intensified, able to withhold from orgasm by flexing pc muscles. Great for penile health.

reading through the thread the kegeling business seems to be a double-edged sword.

on the one hand enabling you to erect and cum hands free i.e. accelerate and on the other hand to prolong the time to orgasm and extend orgasm.

while i have experienced and enjoyed the acceration bit, i have a hard time mastering the prolonging skill.

are we really talking about the same muscle or are there subtle differences how to use it depending on whether you want to accelerate or prolong?

Yes, it is a double-edged sword. The muscle indicated here is actually the BC muscle (bulbocavernosus muscle) which is one of several pelvic floor muscles. Since they are all inervated by the same nerve it is very difficult to contract each muscle separately similar to trying to move only one toe at a time especially toe two to five. I know it is not the nerve inervation in this case but the extensor digitorum muscle that has four tendons going into each toe. You get the idea. They will always move together and only with dedicated exercises will you be able to fine-tune to achieve individual movements.
If I contract my pelvic floor muscles in short intervals it stimulates my prostate and I start to getting aroused. With each contraction the prostate is squeezed a little bit. I haven't achieved this but I have seen videos where the guy is able to do this until he ejaculates.
Now the other side of the double-edged sword is this.
If you reach the point of no return and your pelvic floor muscles are strong enough, you can contract your pelvic floor muscles and squeeze your prostate to prevent the prostate from contracting which otherwise would release the ejaculate.
I hope this makes sense.

I'm very new to PC training. As in ive read a lot and now attempting. I can't get the 2 second hold. I can easily flex them pretty quickly. I work standing up for 12 hours. Would flexing them as much as I can like semi constantly be a safe way to start? If I keep it up will I be able to go longer? Should o flex them til I fell sore?
