Just finished watching this programme on TV. I was wondering what people's experiences were with viagra - have you ever used it? Would you ever use it? Good experiences? Bad experiences?

Personally, I wouldn't like to have an 'erection that won't quit' and my erections are already hard enough as it is (almost too hard). There were some complaints that Viagra makes men selfish lovers and that women need more than just a hard cock ie romance, passion, foreplay.

As steel has turned to tin, I've been a bit curious.
Someone at a party once gave me some 'Viagra.'
It was blue, looked exactly like the pill I've seen in advertisements.
I took it the next night expecting a remarkable sproing factor.
Nuthin'.
No, the whole hope/intention/climb-the-mountain/leave-the-earth/meld-with-the-Godhead/splat-back-into-the-cabbage-patch curve was exactly the same as usual.
No better, no worse.
So I dunno.
Was it real Viagra?

Maybe not. There are a lot of fakes.

Someone was in the pub trying to sell 'Viagra' jelly...you have to be careful what you're getting. Although apparently it is widely available. If you want some, go with a trusted source such as a pharmacy.

I've used generic Viagra, Cialis, and one other (forget the name). The viag gave me a headache but did what it was supposed to. The cialis worked great. But remember, I used generics which aren't safe anyways.

Edit:

I found the site I got it at. It was the 6 pill sample pack.

I'm diabetic, with mild hypertension (and old-ish age!), and have been using sildenafil (V) and subsequently tadalafil (C) for about 5-6 years now. Like you, Syddy, I found the V gave me headaches (and blue-shifted vision) but worked for a while Initially Cialis was much better in that regard, and the effects last for 24-36 hours, but I have to be pretty aroused (or very horny) for it to make a significant difference.

What's bothering me at the moment is, I'm finding it less effective than it was at first, and I'm wondering if one develops a tolerance level for it. Or maybe I just need to lose some weight for it to be more effective. Whatever, it's a damned expensive way to get hard (just under $20 a pill in Aus), and if I didn't need it I wouldn't take it, but the ACE inhibitor I'm on pretty much precludes erection any other way these days.

I'm also now on SSRI (anti-depressant) to help with PE; wondering if that is affecting the action of the C, too. Sigh...oh to be young again!

Due to taking blood pressure meds the doc gave me Viagra, I take half a pill, no I don't have 4 hour erections, everything works like its suppose to. It does give me a mild headache the next morning, nothing bad just enough to let you know you have one. I've never had any vision problems with it.

clever title!

It was the title of the TV programme. I have heard about the headaches also. No one else wants to talk about the little blue pill?

On the programme was also the story that Viagra was given to a premature baby (didn't say how premature) in order to increase her circulation as her organs weren't developed properly. It worked.

Initially Viagra was developed to help with heart problems by increasing bloodflow. Causing erections is a side effect.

I didnt watch the show, I saw it was on and then Jodie Marsh popped up on screen and I swiftly changed channel.

I've tried Viagra - I did notice a slight difference and I too had the morning after headache. It's not something I would use unless needed, but for many men its a god send.
