Took viagra for the first time yday, safe to say it was great...however had a headache the next morning, wasnt sure if this was because of the tablet or because i had blood away from my head for over two hours!!!

Never had a headache and no effects the next day - it does make me a little flushed and dizzy about a half hour after taking it and I do get the blue "haze" visual effect. But I also get unstoppable wood and that's a fair tradeoff!
Used it, as well as Levitra. Although both work the same way, I get less side effects with Levitra. I always got the blue haze vision and the headache, as well as an upset stomach the next day. Both gave me hardon's but you do need the stimulus as well. If you are taking it and decide to watch television, it may not produce a hardon, but you will have a larger than normal relaxed state.

Viagra causes dialation of the blood vessels. As a consequence this can affect your vision (blue effect), cause headaches, and/or cause stuffy nose to occur. These occurrance and intensity of these side effects are often dose related. I have used Viagra before and it's great stuff.
Tried Viagra a couple of times. Experienced the most excrutiating headache I have ever had soon after taking it. Never got a hardon. The headaches were so bad I didn't want to fuck anyway.
I have kept a supply of Viagra 100 mg on hand for the past three years or so. I have never taken a whole tab. 1/4 tab is enough to provide me with 'performance insurance' without the side effects, especially when I know we will be having an extended session. 1/2 tab will sometimes cause a feeling of sinus congestion, but never a headache.

I prefer Cialis........lasts longer........only side effect I've experienced is a short, mild lower backache

wow; same dosage set up for me, too. start with 25mg if its only gonna be a quickie [meeting someone during their lunch break or early afternoon] but if it is gonna be a group thing then its the 50mg for me. yeah, i turn red in the face, neck and chest; sinus issues about 4 hours later, and sometimes the vision thing. STAY AWAY from POPPERS, though. A FB brought a bottle over and even though I didnt use it just the 'secondary fumes' were enough to make me light headed for a couple minutes.
The amount you take will really determine your side effects. I use only 25 mg, never more than 50. One partner uses 100mg with no problems, and another uses 50 with no problems.
I don't like to use it very often because it's a prescription, and the side effects and frequency of usage over time do produce long term, irreversible side effects. That's the think I always keep in mind. I usually have sex for no less than an hour, and can usually always stay hard that long. But sometimes, I do get run down, and when I have an important evening, I take a little chunk and I'm good to go.
I get the sinus thing going and red faced, if I take too much. Best thing to do is NOT use it unless you have to. Same with Cialis and Levitra. You'll find as you get older, side effects from any prescription get more and more pronounced. So I'm avoiding all that as much as I can.

When I take Levitra 20 mg or Viagra 100 mg, I can maintain a sold erection for a couple of hours. With Levitra the hardness will range from just hard to so hard it’s almost painful. With Viagra the range of hardness varies less and the erection is a bet larger plus I can truly feel my cock pulse when it’s hard. I have taken Cialis a few times the side effects are not near the level of Levitra or Viagra, but nether is the level of my erection hardness or size. Have done the 50/50 with Levitra 10mg and Viagra 100mg, now that is a truly large and hard erection (the largest erection size I’ve had to date) and it does not waver even after round two. I still do the 50/50 from time to time to mix things up.

thank you for this thread. due to blood pressure meds, the wienerstand has become a soft serve stand and never so hard that i have to use a tire lever to take off the underpants anymore.

I'm in the medical field and I'm well studied about each of these medications. There are no irreversible side effects with any of these. That's not something anyone needs to be concerned about.
The kinds of medications that you need to inject into your penis to get an erection do have some irreversible side effects in that they can cause some tissue changes (like scar tissue) to start forming inside your penis over time. That's why men need to not use the same injection site all the time. But that will just make it even more difficult to get erections, or the ones you get might be more painful.
The biggest risk is being age 50+, overweight, high blood pressure, maybe diabetic, and a couch potato, and all of a sudden trying to fuck like you're 18 again. That's a heart attack waiting to happen!
Remember that your biggest sex organ is your brain. If you think it's going to work, there is a better possibility that it will work...at least a little bit, but not nearly as well as the legitimate prescription pills will work.
There are no natural supplements that work as well as these legitimate prescriptions. Years before these came to market there was an herb named yohimbine that used to be very popular. It was the best that was available but I never saw any reliable reports that it actually did very much.
On the world market there is a ton of counterfeit medications, including Viagra, Levitra, and Cialis. They can look identical and may or may not contain the actual drug or in the same purity or concentration. It's possible that some "natural supplements" available from non-USA sources do actually contain some of these same drugs. But you'll never know for sure what you're getting, so there is possibly an element of risk and danger to taking these.
L-arginine works i've tried it. 5-10MG dose. No side effects and many other benefits.

Well, I've posted my experiences with the little blue pill here before, but here goes again. I don't have trouble attaining or maintaining an erection, but I don't get what I would call fully hard. It's hard enough to do what it's supposed to do when it's supposed to do it, but it's just one more sign that I'm not a teenager anymore.

But this thing could do some serious damage - and it almost did. My wife didn't like it all that much. It was too hard for her. We fit just fine together without it, but she was definitely tight with it. And normally that would be a good thing but it took me like two days to come! Normally that would be a good thing, too, but I was so hard and rough that it wasn't long before she got sore. She said it went a lot deeper, too, and it poked her like a sharp spear. Not good.
There were a lot of time outs during that night. And even though she hurt she kept laughing at the flagpole when I flopped back in bed on my back.
And then it became a kickstand when I laid on my side. She tried to spoon me and literally rolled over the damn thing!
I don't know who said Viagra lasts and hour. While I didn't maintain the erection for extended periods it seemed like subsequent erections were much harder for the next couple of days. She begged to know when I was going to get back to normal.
I went to the doctor the next week to ask questions and if a weaker dose would be any better. The wife wasn't real excited when I got a script and six 25 mg sample pills. That was a long time ago. I still have the six pills.
Maybe one day I'll really need them. But for now they're for emergency use only.
