I have a diagnosis of E.D. and went directly to Quadmix after several years of "hit and miss" with viagra/cialis. I have been on Quadmix for several years now and I have had ZERO side effects with it, it is 100% reliable and works great. What shocked me was that when purchased in "bulk" the Quadmix is actually cheaper than the orals by a wide margin. Like those using oral aids, I can titrate up or down for the expected duration of the "romp" in the sack. My situation started with an injury in my teens and as doctors had warned me, it came home to roost by my 40's. Cholesterol is a little high, but I can't take statins without problems, but that is it. I just started on Cialis 10mg in treatment of ED about two weeks ago. The day I picked up the perscription, I took one tablet about an hour before leaving work. The mild road vibration on my drive home from the office had me completely hard by the time I pulled into the driveway, along with a noticable but managable headache. I ended up having to go back into the office before we could take full advantage. To my pleasant surprise, the little pill had a remarkable impact on our sex life. I was as hard as I used to get in high school but, fortunately, not as um.... quick! I did wake up the next morning with a significant lower backache and, of all things, sciatic nerve pain.
I have since reduced the dosage to half a pill which is sufficient to perform several times within the 36 hour window... and capable of multiple orgasms. I still get the headache but not the sciatic nerve pain. Now, I am extremely reserved about taking medications (the Advil in my desk drawer expired in 2005!!) (YES! U.S. Womens Beach volleyball [May and Walsh] just took the gold!! - Sorry, I digress) so I am not surprised by the headache and find it a VERY small price to pay for a VERY BIG reward!

i posted this b/4 but there is more and more evidence that ED drugs can cause tachyphylaxis which means they stop working. It could be that the liver just breaks it down more quickly or worse, the epithelial lining of the penis starts to produce more of the enzyme that kill erections. If that occurs you could end up impotent.

I do ok without it, but like others have said, it's insurance. I have generic 100mg which works as well as the Pfizer product and is dirt cheap by comparison.
I take 1/4 to 1/2 tablet, depending on the expected action. I do get the stuffy head, but it goes away after 3-4 hours. Sometimes a little nose spray beforehand if I don't want to be stuffed up. I am very fit and have no difficulty getting an erection, but viagra takes sexual performance to an entirely different level. From what I have read here I think I must be fortunate because a 50mg dose doesn't give me any serious side-effects - apart from getting a bit hot and flushed, and sometimes a bit light-headed. Yup, my experience exactly, plus I saw blue. Concluded I was most definitely not a candidate for this drug. Luckily, the reason I even tried it in the first place (with a prescription) went away in a couple of months and have had no problems getting and staying hard since.
But man, what a lousy experience.
I haven't had any side effects from Cialis or Viagra.

Viagra caused the worst migraine I've had in my life.
